It's impossible, because Superman was he first big budget superhero movie, that had special effects that were groundbreaking. After that, Burton's Batman, had some impact of its own for showing a more violent and dark take on superheroes but still wasn't near as big as the Superman film, and from then on it was just a sliding scale, and not even Avengers had that much of a lasting cultural impact.
So, no matter how good the movies are, none of them will have the impact of the first Superman movie.

If Slott does come to modern DCU, no way does he get Superman to write, given the amount of shit DC had to eat to bring back the marriage and basically get fans to come back to the character.

Nor does he get Booster Gold (Dan DiDio and Geoff Johns have a very specific vision for Booster and Doctor Who rip-off it ain't) or Blue Beetle (Ted Kord is only back because they need SOMETHING to get people to fucking buy Jamie's book since Jamie is sales poison).

Most likely, they'd stick him on a Batman book (Detective Comics most likely) or on Legion of the Super-Heroes (with the idea being that Slott's the closest thing to a bankable name that would touch the book with a ten foot pole).

Legion makes the most sense; it's a dead franchise and given everything going on, it is the only book they can give Slott and basically not have to worry about him fucking up the big picture or pissing off another writer. And they can hold the chance of usage of Supergirl or Superboy (Clark or Connor) to keep Slott under their thumb
