I thought it was really boring.
I wasn't expecting it to be as good as the critics want me to believe but at a certain point of the third act I was looking at my watch wondering how much more would I have to endure.
I get that Diana is naive about the world of man but by the end of the movie I was thinking that maybe she was a literal autist.
The fight scenes had really bad special effects too. The one thing that Man of Steel did right wasn't replicated here.

For example, for a women who has no idea what "ice cream" is, how does she tell that brown guy to take her "photograph" and know what that is? How does that make any fucking sense.

The fight scenes with the backup characters were decent, oddly enough, the other amazons and military-men were decent enough but hers were super cringy. I went and seen the movie with two fujo girls who are movie buffs and they both hated it. One said she almost fell asleep during the 3rd act, the other described the acting as "Cringy" and the jokes as "horrible and unfunny."

The movie was cool, not the best but a decent supers movie. Don't know what's wrong with Gadot, she fits the role without looking like a porn star and her performance was good. Two things bothered me though.

How did the demigod daughter of Zeus manage to defeat Zeus' son that killed all the other gods including Zeus himself? Power of love, really?

Why did her mother, who seemed to basically agree with Ares that humans were too evil and not worthy of being saved, still teach her daughter about how amazing humans were and told her that some day the amazons would have to defeat Ares? This was because Ares actually wanted her as an ally, so he wanted her to both get stronger and more wary of men, that's why helped her to go to the front.
The second one was her telling the mythological stories vs her being afraid for her child. It's a contradiction that many parents face: preparing your child for the world vs sheltering them from any wrong that may happen to them.
The whole plot was pretty much a coming of age story.

It's a pretty hard fact that the only other alternative likely to invade Japan with conventional forces. Far more civilians would have died from collateral damaged due to conventional bombing and close combat due to the proximity of civilian centers to combat areas, and- in addition, feminine, starvation and mass conscription. Estimates would have been anywhere from 500k to 5 million civilian and military deaths if we had invaded. The bomb saved a lot of lives.
