Why is this always the case? Garfield & Friends and Dilbert are leagues better than their comics. I assume the Baby Blues strip is "haha, wow isn't parenting just crazy" banal bullshit compared to the cartoon as well.

I don't know why but Garfield always manages to produce a sensible chuckle from me.

G&F was one of my faves as a kid. And looking back on it, it did lot of the humor that was in Tiny Toons and Animaniacs.
