Make the villain Circe, Introduce Barbara as in a sidekick capacity, have all the elements you discussed played out as a sisterhood or romantic subplot. They track Circe to some source of ancient mystical power Barbara gets lost and presumed dead in some cave in. After credits scene is a dirty,bruised and bleeding woman in the middle of some pit reaching out towards a cheetah pelt on an alter.

Third movie starts with a mass murderer killing people. The men partially eaten and the women mutilated with claw marks ion their chest in the shape of a "W".
Cheetah begins the movie as a powerful woman wearing the Cheetah skin like a shroud or some cave woman. But the more she kills and eats the more bonded with the skin she becomes and the stronger she gets. As the movie progresses and Cheetah changes you'll see the suit begin to consume her and she'll become more vicious and animal like until she looks like >>92959081. As her Final Form. Her and WW will have a final battle in where She becomes lassoed and forced to confess why she did this. In the process Cheetah will blame Wonder Woman for abandoning her and not caring enough to save her but she'll realize that's a lie and that Wonder Woman just wasn't able to help her. This will calm Cheetah down and she will morph again into the more humanized long haired form of Cheetah. Because even though she realizes her bitterness towards Wonder Woman was based on a lie she still can't forgive her.

No that's stupid. WW2 should have the main villain be one of her Silver Age villains not connected with Greek Mythology. The Bana-Mighdall and Artemis.

Abandoned by the Amazons and without the protection of Themyscira, they became mortal. While the Amazons were off practising with bows and swords, the Bana-Mighdall have adopted modern weaponry and tactics to keep up with a changing world and sell their skills as mercenaries. They heard the rumours of an Amazon fighting in WW1, but Diana's disappearance after led them to believe it was just a story.

With Diana's reappearance alongside Superman, their hatred of the Amazon's is reignited and they appoint a champion to kill Diana, equipping her with magical artifacts they've found over the centuries.

The lovers thing being a twist revealed partway through the movie could work really well. WW is canonically bi. It'd be more refreshing than her love interest being Nemesis and basically a Steve Trevor stand-in. Especially if the movie is a manhunt with WW chasing Cheetah around the world trying to stop her murder spree.

It makes way more sense to use Cheetah next. There's a lot of potential there, even for Diana to give her more backstory on where she's been.

My big thing is that I want them to stray away from Greek mythology. It's ok for Diana's first outing because it has to be introduced, but Wondie lends herself to the more pulpy 70s type of story of the hero tracking down the evil mad villain.

Cheetah is a pretty obvious choice, and you could later reveal Urtzkataga as the reason for Cheetah's powers and transformation (voiced by Peter Cullen as someone mentioned).

Dr. Cyber would make for a great retro feeling to the plot, with Diana tracking her to an evil underwater lair and everything. If anything, she lends herself best to a sequel, seeing as she is an entirely human threat whose connections and expertise makes herself a threat. She also could fill in the role for a Bond-esque villains.

Dr. Psycho is a pretty good choice, but honestly I think he would've been great for the first movie.

A combination of Doctor Psycho and Circe would allow them to create a good juxtaposition to the world Diana once knew and the world she's a part of now. It would also allow them to explore themes of gender politics and patriarchal oppression through one villain who is your typical MRA misogynist who wants to manipulate women and another who is a manipulator who tries to justify her own self-serving and morally dubious actions by acting as an oppressed victim of the patriarchy.

I'm assuming Circe will be the next main threat. I would love to see Dr. Psycho on screen and Cheetah's a given at some point, and they could easily retcon her origin (or Giganta's) into being given by Circe.
