He gained a fucking ton of money at the start of Bendis run, iirc, or maybe at the end of the previous one, the mini. It was behind the reason why he started producing that TV series that ended being canceled, or maybe that was also a fount of money, damn, I cannot remember that run (Bemndis') well. He has already spent all his money from his mercenary days, and either gained a lot of money with absurd luck at investing in assets, or won the lottery: I cannot remember which one was. So he's still rich as hell, but not because his former days as mercenary (and not because his family, either: they were average, I think)

Issue 7, in which the Woods take the reins.

While certainly weaker than the previous one, I still find it enjoyable, comparatively.

The main thing about this run is that we now have an actual overarching story, instead of the episodic nature of the previous run and the last 4 chapters of the on-going.

With this arc, you can see how incredible better Smallwood has become. He was just there the first time he put his asr on MK, but while with lemire, this second time, even the way he works with panels is way, way better.

I liked this part, too. The writing wasn't the best, but I would read more of it anytime.

it's not randomly. Each one has their own uses so he just switching to them when he needs it. It happens a lot when he was still doing the whole "various superhero" personas with Wolverine, Captain America, Spidey.
