So is Dark Knight Strikes Again actually good? I'm trying to read more of the classic comics, read Returns, and wanted to move onto this, but it seems like people didn't like Strikes Again nearly as much.

It has some nice moments but while in DKR one could say characters were in a morally grey area, here they are mostly too unlikable for no reason. The twist at the end is baffling and unsatisfying. The art can be almost incomprehensible.

It's a departure from DKR for sure, I think that's people's biggest problem. Also it's pretty damn silly and some people take their favorite heroes way too serious

If you go in expecting a tried-and-true sequel to TDKR, you're going to hate it. If you don't mind holding on for dear life and trying to enjoy the ride, you might enjoy it.
