Anyone remember this halloween movie? I used to rent it from blockbuster, some 15 years ago.

The literal only thing I can remember is some kid like dies and turns into a halloween spirit? I literally have no other memory of it. Red/orange haired kid IIRC.

The fact that the girl he ends up with doesn't say a single word to him the entire movie is creepy as fuck
We are supposed to guess it's somehow mutual yet it feels like Sandler forces himself into her life and forces her into a relationship
Not even Tumblr, the kid shares at least a good ten minutes of interaction with Sandler but the love interest, a grown woman is never alone with him

I'm a little torn. At first glance Rapsittie seems obviously worse because of the horrendous CGI. But if you really sit down and break it into its other elements, it has tolerably mediocre straightforward story, dialogue, and actually for the most part surprisingly good acting. If you took away the animation and broke it down to the storyboard stage and played that as a pitch with the sound played over it, I can see why someone wold invest in it, if they didn't know the animation end of things would shit the bed so terribly.

The Christmas tree on the other hand has less eye gouging visual designs and actual backgrounds, but the plot is weird, clumsy, and all over the place, and all of the acting it really bad.

If only the two could be combined it would be the perfect storm of terrible movie.
