I like Damian more, but he's a sidekick. Terry is a protagonist and his growth is written with that in mind. Damian's roles demands that he act as a foil to others so he's not going to gel with everyone. Damian vs Terry in a contest of sons is weird to compare given the only one who acted as his son is Damian. Terry had a father with whom he had a good relationship, Bruce was Terry's mentor. Terry was already a man when he found out Bruce was his biological father. The point of Damian is that he tests Bamtan's character by emphasizing how he's a great crimefighting mentor but has some room to grow as a dad.

When doing a "who is better" thing with Damian, it'd be better suited to compare his role with other Robins, which is why OP's question isn't one that gets asked. Of course, when people discuss who the best Robin is, they really just mean Damian vs Tim.

The non-flashback parts of Epilogue were the dumbest shit

damian was only ever good in morrisions books. he had a character arc, spoiled assassin kid with no sense of the real world, who learned compassion and family from Dick and Bruce. that went out the window when anyone else writes him.

I don't like damian that much, but I've grown to like the dynamic of his relationship to others. It may have been boring being the good son, we saw that with Dick and Tim. He was raised by Batman's enemy.
We still don't know what kind of man he will be when he grows up. Does he take on his Ra's role or his dads?
Terry is great as a person, but he is too much like Dick, in almost every aspect; the looks, body, personality, and even fighting style.
