The funny thing is, you would probably be able to fight the case (if they ever tried to crack down) over hosting/downloading a show like this because they have made it literally impossible to get it legally.

If they don't stand to make any money on it, they can't possibly lose that money. So a good lawyer/attorney could argue probably successfully that the (maybe) hundred or so dollars you kept from their pockets doesn't actually exist.
