This is a dweeby high school nerd.
>>92910769
He was a college student the entire time.
SPIDER BLOOD
SPIDER BLOOD
RADIOACTIVE SPIDER BLOOD
>high school
He was a fucking tutor in college
AlsoGET BACK HERE SHOCKER
>>92910769
Looking back that Spiderman cartoon was really lame despite being the only one which had the Hobgoblin in it
>>92911415
I liked that they skipped the origin story and he was just Spider-man already out of high school.
>>92910769
Did you even watch the show?
>>92911488
Bob Richardson said that was the pitch to Marvel Films Animation saying "common we had a Batman cartoon last year that didn't have an origin story because he is so well know. Are you saying people know Spider-man less?" Sadly that kind of talk back now and days gets you kick off projects.
>>92911556
> common now and days.
Back to high school.
>>92910769
haha puny parker. He's just not on Flash Thompson's level.
By those standards so is this.
>>92910769
CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH!
>>92911359
how come he didn't get cancer
>>92911629
>Now that the public knows Spider-man has an injured arm
Millions of people live in New York City, you fucking idiot.
>>92911678
Becausehe is cancer!
>>92911696
And most of them read the news.
>>92911923
My point was, millions of people live there. One guy sharing an injury with another isn't impossible or unbelievable.
>>92911952
True. Paranoid Parker.
>>92911923
No they don't.
Is this actually worth a watch ? I only vaguely remember watching years ago, are the other Spiderman Cartoons any good ?
>>92911678
Much like how caffeine affects spiders like alcohol radiation affects Spiderman like a strange energy drink.
>>92912012
The voice acting's pretty damn good, but the animation is budget-focused as hell and quickly goes to shit in every single episode. It's a coin toss. Definitely watch Spectacular Spider-Man, though; that show's fucking great.
>>92911629
What's her appeal?
>>92912012
I kinda think you have to have grown up on it to really enjoy it. It's censored quite a bit and the voice acting can be quite over the top but it kind of has a weird charm to it.
Spectacular Spider-man is just flat out good and pretty beloved. You'll enjoy that.
>>92912012
Pretty good, the only people who deny this are nu-males who don't find it PROGRESSIVE enough, and praise Spectacular for having more spics and niggers.
>>92911678
he's not suffering man.
>>92912211
>praise Spectacular for having more spics and niggers.
I've never once seen it praised for that. Not ever. Think you might be losing it, pal.
>>92911725Ruins?

SHOCKEEERRRR
I'LL FOLLOW YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH
>>92912211
Take off your nostalgia goggles, /pol/.
>>92911629
Romita Sr women are so hot.
>>92911952
Unless someone already had a suspicion beforehand that Peter was Spider-Man. Playing it safe.
>tfw Dormammu created Carnage in this series
>>92912211
bullshit, I rewatched the entirety of DCAU as an adult and it holds up perfectly well, while Spider-Man TAS is a rushed atrociously animated mess where pacing is fucked up beyond belief.
YOU'D HAVE TO BE A DAREDEVIL TO DARE TO CHALLENGE ME
>>92911678
He turned into a giant spider at some point.
>>92910769
So what's a good Spidey series to get into these days?
>>92912012
I rewatched it and could not get over how fucking fast everything was. Children's cartoons, I guess.
If I'd never seen it before, I'd probably still watch it since it's not offensive enough to overrule how much I liked Spider-man and the actors aren't bad.
>>92910769
Moot got a cartoon?
>>92913973
Who?
Spider Slayers were based as fuck.
>>92911488
I don't think I've seen a Spidey cartoon where they've done the origin in real-time. Seems like somethings the movies do instead.
>>92911415
Well, Spectacular had Rodrick Kingsley. They just got canceled before he could put on the costume.
>>92916312
They had Daniel as well, if you pay attention to the episode.
>>92910769
In a world where everyone is /fit/, even the frail old men in the show, yes. Parker was considered a dweeby nerd.
Also, that's not highschool Peter. They had a flash back episode where it actually showed Peter in highschool. Pic related it what he looked like in highschool.
>>92913284
>Electro was Red Skull's son
It was interesting getting into comics and see all the differences.
>>92911359
How did they manage to say it like 18 times in the theme, yet the rest of the show censored it as "plasma?"
>>92911629
That was after Romita took over. Also in college Stan stopped writing him like a nerdy pussy. He became more like Harry but always skipping on dates or running off to take photos.
>>92917191
DORK
>>92910769
why cant all the spiderman remakes start in college instead of highschool?
>>92912161
>It's censored quite a bit
it took me the longest time to realize that they literally censored punching in Spiderman, kind of like in Jackie Chan Adventures. Apparently its okay to just kick everyone
>>92917191
Ja I am Peter Parker
>>92911952
>>92911629
>>92911968
>>92913241
He should have just did what Batman did.
GET BACK HERE SHOCKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SHOCKEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
YOU CAN'T ESCAPE MEEE
I'LL CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARRRRTHH!!!!!!!!!!!
>>92917299
I'm pretty sure the issue is actually showing bleeding. So, when they had characters that were meant to drain blood, they replaced that with "plasma" in order to avoid showing people having their blood drained. "Blood" itself wasn't the problem.

>>92910769
>>92917929
Except Batman was doing it to hide Robin's injury, whereas Peter dressing up in a gaudy fashion would just draw more attention to his injured arm.
>>92917935
>>92917984
>>92918017
Ah, my favorite episode.
Even as a kid I hated the design of Peter Parker. He looks like a fucking Ken Doll.
I like spidy being this level of buff at least more so than when artist draw him really skinny
>>92913874
Spectacular Spider-Man was great.
>>92912900
Wait what? No. Don't tell me the fucked up marvels, did they?
>>92916166
The Parker Spidey origin story should never be done again in any media. If someone SOMEHOW doesn't know it by now, they can look up one of the dozens of times it's been retread in the past.
>>92918017BLASTIT
>>92910769
haha look at the dweeb.
Look at his 1.9 m
or his gorgeous face
or that perfect hair
or his artistic sense
or that 80+ kg of pure muscles
Look at him. Look at him and laugh. What a nerd!
>>92910769

Elextra complex.
>>92913434
>DCAU
point proven
>>92919163
This scene made young me tingly. And gave teenage me boners.
>>92912012
Most of them are pretty great.
TAS is fucking wild and crazy and VERY high-energy, and it has tons of lazy and re-used animation,so it might not be for everyone.
Spectacular is the easiest to recommend because it has a great, more cohesive story and better animation, but.. it fucking looks weird. But it's really good with characters and relationships.
The MTV one is weird.
The 60's Spider-man is fucking hysterical because of how shit it is.
Ultimate isn't TERRIBLE, but it has really obnoxious humor and writing. It got just a bit better as it went on.
>>92911696
He actually works that out for himself, casual.
