Come on OP, it's an entire 90 minute movie that's just Seinfeld making bee puns. It's so stupid and weird without being depressingly transparent about it's attempt to cash in like The Emoji Movie.
Seinfeld went to Dreamworks and said "I want to star in a film where I get to make Bee puns" and Dreamworks said "okay". How does that just not sound amazing too you?

It's legitimately sort of bizarre. You gotta remember, this is a movie where one of the critical scenes is that the main character sues the human race (as in, the case literally goes to trial, somehow) for the continued exploitation of bees around the world. There's also a b-plot involving the main character falling in love with a human woman who's already in a committed relationship, which resolves about as messily as you could expect.
The whole movie's an exercise in absurdist humor, which I guess you'd have to expect from Jerry Seinfeld, but the thing that makes it bizarre is that the movie plays it all completely straight, like the writers legitimately thought they were making some kind of thought-provoking masterpiece.
It's exactly the kind of nonsense Tumblr loves.
