I can tell why but I find the art style during these area vary appealing to look at.
It's not that the comics now is bad to read or look, there are many good artist right now and morden comics have better colouring skill.
But the comics of those area just seems to have more pop art feel than the morden comics
What do you think ?

Basically the romance comics artists, who all had to be technically tight.
It was the era of stylized house style, if that makes sense. So you have that kind of similar look across most books but they're still somewhat unique.

That page is pretty. Nice layering, nice art. Even the coloring is nice, and that has merit for an 80's comic (late 80's, right?)

Oh honey, don't date anyone with a mustache. Facial hair is the Devil's pubes!
I get it. I love me some John Romita Sr. or Jose Luis Garcia Lopez

Vary stylized indeed

I think they're very appalling. Panels too crowded, poor designs, limited facial expressions and poor understanding of body language.

We will never get this Raven animated ever or in comics ever again
Everything is derivative from the cartoon
Is she 13 or 20?
Let YOUR boner decide.

i know how you feel, people are so obsess and stubborn on image of Rven and Starfire the cartoon tv show portrait .Many people just seems to not able to take anything that is not like the cartoon,Including the original comic(like complaining starfire is too sexy in the comic).
That why i like the rebirth Raven and the anime movies Raven, they feel fresh and different from the cartoon
This might sound odd but I really want to see a Halo comic in the style of the 70's Star Wars Marvel comic.

What Nightwing runs are these from? Worth reading? I've always been interested in stories with that costume but no idea if they're actually good.

Those are from New Teen Titans which is a classic.

Bronze age had my favorite art as far as comic books go, that was when they finally surpassed newspaper comics.

>Batman's less-than-glorious time in the West.
This was a time when paneling and lettering were a big deal. You don't see many great panelists and letterers these days, like artists think of them as secondary.

>Panels too crowded, poor designs, limited facial expressions and poor understanding of body language.
So nothing's changed then.

It's the same with film editing. People don't realize how important juxtaposition of elements are to properly convey the time and space of a story.

Zero taste.
