>"Where'd they go?"
But... the other side of her head is just eyes... and that's the side facing where Kim is... right?
Also if these guys can be stopped by WATER then so much for their credibility as a threat.

Can't they fly?
People read this shlock unironically? How do you even make comics for this long and still have such atrocious paneling?
Why do we still have these threads?
I'm sure i saw this page before
>>92840589
The art's not even good anymore. What's the point?
>>92842735
They all blend together.
>>92840589
This comic is still going? I picked this shit up when I was in highschool, I'm almost 30 now.
>>92844210
Yeah. The current arc started in 2010 and it's only 77 pages long.
>>92840589
He hasn't improved his shitty ass paneling and progression of action. Fuck me there's so much he could have done with the art if he didn't think in tiny fucking boxes all the damn time. Then again he wouldn't be a smarmy prick if he didn't.
>>92844286
Jeeeeeesus. The last thing I remember from this comic was the whole "time-colonists invade" arc that resulted in Kimiko becoming an amputee-fetish object. Then there was something about her getting to a futuristic city and going full GITS with a cyberbody or something, I don't even know.
That one comic that wound up being her alternate-prehistory fanfiction was fun, I wish there were more random interval stories like that instead of this multi-decade arc.
>>92844328
Great. You hurt his feelings. Now it'll be three or four months until the next page. (Has he ever done the 'every other week' his patreons somehow keep paying for?)
>>92844442
I don't give a shit, he's proven to be a spineless fuck anyway, so who cares since it's not my money I'm wasting on his lazy ass.
>starts out qt
>gets progressively more terrible as the years stretch on
>>92840589
I like how there's absolutely nothing to separate the panels in terms of color and all the small panels and failed attempts at making dynamic composition take the reader out of the experience as they have to figure out what they are looking at and in what order.
When confusion takes over practicality in an attempt to look cool, you know you done goofed.
>Kimiko will never be interesting or flawed ever again
>makes 4.5k alone on patreon
legit I'm both in awe and depressed because I probably could mever get there as I am
>>92840589
>that fifth panel
What the ever-loving fuck is Diaz supposed to convey here? Why is there a fucking duplicate of the characters in the foreground? Is it supposed to represent a closeup? Jesus Christ, Diaz's paneling just gets worse and worse. I get he wants to be experimental, but all his experiments are fucking shit.

Every fucking time
I check it mostly out of habit at this point; Star Power -> El Goonish Shive -> GPF -> S*P -> Sam and Fuzzy -> Dresden Codak -> QC, regular as clockwork.
I don't give a shit about his bizarre boarding arrangements, or at least I wouldn't, but as >>92844286 said, it's impossible to give a shit about this story when he puts out a comic every 2 months or so. I wish he'd just give up and admit he doesn't want to be a webcomic creator anymore, that he'd rather just be a writer or an illustrator. He's obviously dragging himself through this despite having no interest in it, if he had something he felt was worth saying he'd have drawn it in less than a decade.
>>92844442
>paying real world money-dollars for this garbage, when he can't even keep to a self-imposed schedule
I hope he takes their money, wrings the green dye or pigment or whatever out of it, then spends the next 5 years drawing a single page that has no green in it for them.
>>92844664
>>starts out with limbs
>>gets progressively more more amputated as the years stretch on
>>92844886
>Kimiko will never have arms or legs ever again
>>92840589
Is his art getting sloppier? Some parts of this page look life they were coloured by a kid, with pastels
did you pay the 50 dollar fee to post this thread with his art work
>>92848044
The guy should just make porn, the comics' already just a pretense to draw his fetishes anyway
>>92848044
Is that cyborg squirrel girl?
how many updates is that this year?
>>92840589
>patreon at $4k
It used to be $8k, right? I heard Spoony went from that much to just $700 a month. Is this the end of douchey patreon abusers? When people finally start pulling support from those that barely release any content?
Shit, 77 comics in 7 years? I'm surprised professional comic artists don't jump onto patreon and just half ass a page once ever other month.
>>92850452
>used to be $8k
maybe confused with JJ that used to be 10k then dropped to 8 when Patreon switched to actual payments, then was climbing back to 10 when he decided to hide his revenue. But his patron numbers are still climbing. See sources:

This guy really feels the need to justify his fetish under a mountain of mealy-mouthed social justice empowerment horseshit.
It feels like if Dobson had came out and started saying
>What I try to represent is the ever present social atmosphere of America's struggle with inflation. Both as the physical aspect in terms of our, some might say losing, battle with obesity, but also our need to expand business, expand territory, expand influence. How long can such behavior truly proceed? When does the proverbial bubble pop? I hope that my art captures this important topic and gets people thinking on this troubling subject.
