I feel like the whole era of cape movies is kind of a monkey's paw wish.

As a kid/teen in the late 80s/90s I read comics but it was super nerdy. I wished comics were more popular and accepted.

Flash forward the 2000s and cape movies become the biggest things in the world, but comics themselves still aren't really popular. Almost nobody reads the actual comics but everyone is into the characters/stories.

It doesn't feel like She-hulk, or Jen in general book.

Right now the only thing it has going for it is that it's one of the few female solos that isn't bogged down by horrendous artwork.

Most of marvels female solo's right now feel like slice of life stuff garbage with comedy in it geared towards young women, and other than the latter thats what Jen's old books have usually been about (but done in a good way) Instead they've gone with a completely uninteresting opening arc involving, you guess it INHUMANS, and focused on a PTSD ridden and boring Jen.

To make matters worse we've gone 6 plus issues without a sight of her hulk form, only showing it in the cover, but Marvel doesn't seem to give two shits about even hyping it up, making the teasing pretty much pointless.

I want a mega man successor.
