Post C-Listers that are A-Listers in your heart
Just going to get this out of the way.
>>92827903
Plas is terrifying when he decides to be.
Also Moon Knight
>>92827903
I came to post Eel too!
It's been great seeing him getting a lot of love from /co/ lately.
>>92827423
Both Man-Thing and Swamp Thing are top tier for me. I don't know what it is about monsters that live in swamps that speaks to me, but it sure does.
>>92827423
Yeah, I like Green Lantern too.
>>92827423
But he's strong. Potentially the strongest DC hero. Why can't he have more coverage?
His injustice part was shit.
>>92827903
>it's been the better part of a decade since he's been in the main books
just fucking kill me already
If you can even call her a C-lister anymore.
Also >>92832365 and >>92827423.
Also, >>92832805
>>92827903
Where the FUCK is his series? It's seriously an instabuy for me, are people seriously more likely to read Gotham Academy or something?
Considering he has permanent pop culture A-list relevance as Robin I'd love for Dick Grayson, specifically, to be as important as Nightwing. It feels like he ought be as famed in adulthood as a teen. Maybe he needs to stay in Gotham and co-lead the Batfamily with Bruce, even if he won't get to be Dickbats.
Pic related is the only time I've seen both the bird logo and sidearm color bands together, for some strange reason. It's always sidearm bands with a mere chevron or the bird logo without sidearm bands.
>>92827986
>>92827423
Booster and Animal Man look too similar
>>92835373
He's B-list at worst, with tons of merchandise and his own upcoming movie (maybe). Get the fuck out of here with your well-respected, decently-known character.
>>92832805
I'd consider her a C-lister. Still, has a strong following compared to others sadly.
Also Firestorm
I miss these idiots.
B lister instead of a c lister
>>92827986
Same for me, fuck i love every run of animal man
>>92827423
>>92827423
Booster has been B-list (not quite A-list but more than C-list) both from his team book appearances as well as his own one plus events/crossovers like 52 or Infinite Crisis. That's actually one of his strengths, he fits into a team book neatlessly but can also easily work in his own one. That is, as long as he is written by Jurgens, Giffen or Johns.
>>92828095
Which one is the ripoff of the other?
What does Ant Man count as now?
Where is Martian Manhunter these days?
>>92833841
Came here to post this. Man, what a badass.
>>92832805
Given her recent role in Tec I'd say she's B list.
>>92832805
Besides her, is Batwoman a c-lister?
>>92835748
Jaime too!
I love that they're teaming up right now (not so hot on the magic origin retcon).
>>92835808
52 and Infinite Crisis are a thousand years old, he already crawled back to the forgotten shitty heroes limbo where he belongs
>>92835892
Temporary A-lister until Marvel realises putting him in movies doesn't sell shit.
>>92835935
Kate's a B-lister given DC gave her another ongoing and have used her in Bombshells as the Bat-lead.
Always a favorite.
>>92836088
i didn't know he stunk that bad.
>>92835969
I like Jaime as well, but Ted Kord is way less popular, bu yeah Jaime is I would say B-tier.
Thanks, Barry.
More of a B-List, but is AA in my heart.
>>92827423
Green lantern IS an A-lister what are you talking about?
>>92832365
Why is such a 10/10 design stuck kn the c-list?
Carey's Vertigo run on this guy was amazing.
Besides Animal Man and Swamp Thing, I would say Madame Xanadu. People keep posting Dark DCU characters but even in that group she gets the short end of the stick. They even got her out of the JLD movie.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMCzS0CJGLY
>>92836178
Also, pic related is an amazing run.
>>92836221
imma check this out because it's a character I know next to nothing about. Hope it's good m8
>>92836015
>where he belongs
I'll have your head for this!
>>92836303
Starts kinda bland, spouting some magic lingo but it's just for the first issues. Then it gets intense.
Is this thread Big Two only?
>>92837024
I recognize Badger and Madman, but who's the first guy?
>>92837108
Nexus
>>92835748
my nigga
>>92835969
I still miss the Blue and Gold and JLI Adventures.
Moonie is fucking great.
>>92832365
>tfw people mock the shocker
>>92835248
The Jack Cole run is a tough act to follow. It's like doing Daredevil after Miller. Of the writers and artists who do like him, nobody wants to touch him because they don't want to screw him up.
>>92837692
Fuck, wasn't that guy in a PS1 Spiderman Game? I thought he was cool.
>>92827423
>>92837692
>The inside of the coffin is quilted
Fuck, I miss this series.
>>92835892
scott is now a-lister
Hank became c-lister when marvel now! hit.
>>92827423
I'm pretty sure C is too high a list for him.
Who are some Marvel C-Listers.
A lot of DC C Listers at least get a lot of exposure in their animated shows, so much so that they ended up becoming super popular especially when you think of Brave and the Bold.
>>92835579
me too, especially want more Finesse, Hasmat andMettle
hands down fav Marvel character
>>92835528
Power Girl is a c-lister? I don't following DC much but I always hear about her outside of /co/.
>>92838513
Well he was main roster for a time in the 80's
>>92838859
Hands down on his wife's face.
BAM
>>92835808
Folks tend to forget Booster's ongoing lasted 47 issues before the New 52 canceled it.
>>92827423
RIP
>>92839106
Another one ended before their time by the Nu52
>>92835890
Swamp is better
>>92835373
>Maybe he needs to stay in Gotham and co-lead the Batfamily with Bruce
He needs to get out and do soemthing that isn't Batman lite
Grayson could've been it buuuuuuut yeah, the people want Batman lite
John Constantine is one of the badass characters out there but he's been getting a lot of bad writers lately. Ennis should've kept the series, his run was what I really liked
>>92839595Jamie Delano was better
>>92828023
mah nig
>>92839635
I liked the ideas he's been putting out like with the Damnation Army and whatnot, just too much of an illiterate fuck for how much writing he could do
>>92839595
>Constantine
>C-lister
>>92839106
Who should do Secret Six Rebirth? I vote Priest since I'm loving his take on villainous mercenary work.
>>92839832
He's only recently stepped into being a well-known character in the mainstream.
>>92839839
He would be amazing but I think Secret Six is one of those things where DC won't give it to anyone but Simone
>>92839883
>recently
Like, 6 years ago?
>>92835528
>Power girld
>not double D-lister
>>92839106
Man, it really is a shame that the new 52 S6 book was so mediocre.
>>92839839
Damn I was hoping Priest would do a Suicide Squad run with DC fucking off for at least 12 issues, but Priest Secret Six sounds good too.
>>92839944
What happened 6 years ago?
>>92835890
Conway and Wein will never tell.
>>92838645
Gravity
>>92839883
>recently
Hellblazer had a 25-year run.
>>92840256
And?
>>92838645
Quasar,The New Warriors,Longshot.
>>92840256
Yeah he's loved by the actual comic crowd, but was he known to Joe Schmo on the streets?
>>92827423
Don't know about c-lister but..
>>92839035
and that it was pretty damn good too. Shame nu-52 turned him into an asshole but hopefully he's gotten better.
>>92840181
Gravity is almost Z List my dude. I've read most of his stuff and I can barely remember him.
>>92840336
He had a movie.
All of the original Justice League International
>>92840338
At least she's one of the characters replacing Poison Ivy and Katana on the Superhero Girls cartoon I think
The cast of: irredeemable, incorruptible, lobo, Owlman, and Hush.
Owlman and hush you'd think would be more popular being batman villains, but I guess not.
>>92835579
>>92838859
Yep, too bad Arena killed pretty much any chance of seeing them together in anything that doesn't suck.
>>92840449
Hush is one of those characters that keeps showing up in the comics despite being garbage
But thankfully isn't one of those characters that shows up in cartoons because stuff keeps happening that prevents him from doing so
I think they wanted to do a Hush animated movie along with Death in the Family but nothing has come out of those yet
These two desu
They're doomed to forever be B listers, stuck on Batshit and Teen Titans respectively
>>92837741
The Foglio mini and the Barker ongoing were pretty damn good.
>>92836178
>>92836303
Damn fine run shame it was cancelled when DC nabbed all these characters back
>>92838859
the best
>>92840039
New 52
>>92840381
And a TV Show that a lot of casuals love
They're my favorite Avengers team.
>>92838348
The Fix is from the same creative team if you haven't read it yet.
>>92840965
Must not have not been enough casuals for it not to get cancelled after one season
He'll always be an A-list character to me :(
>>92831770
Nabu did stand up to The Spectre and survive, and a competent wielder makes him even more powerful (i.e. Hector Hall uses both Order and Chaos Magic, meaning he can fuck up anyone not matter what they bring).
>>92827423
>DC
Captain Atom
>Marvel
Death's Head
classic Squadron Supreme
MAX Nighthawk (I fell he's the only truly compelling Supreme Power character)
>Image
Union
And a z-list small press shout out to the Pantheon.
And no amount of shitty movies will ever change that.
>>92835373
Uh, Nightwing is a B-lister at least.
>>92844983
"All-Star Western Rebirth" when?
>>92838513
Mah Man! Dressed up as him for Halloween last year.
>>92839106
Good taste.
>>92831770
He's hard to write, how do you write magic well that isn't too convuluted
Illyana Nikolievna Rasputina, queen of my heart.
Mothafuckin' Moon Knight, or, as I like to call him, Pimp Knight.
>>92836118
He was some sort of supernatural entity last I checked.
>>92850461
Wasn't moon knight being pushed hard by marvel recently?
>>92827423
I'm confused, you think Green Lantern is C-list and not A-list?
>>92827423
Hawk and Dove
Fire and Ice
Vigilante and Ser Justin
... huh, it's funny. When you get complimentary C-listers they suddenly become A-listera.
>>92840181
God dam do I miss him
>>92844702
my fellow negro
>>92828023
My favorite comic character.
He gets no love.
I keep playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance, a 12 or so year old game, just because him and based Blade are in it.
I will never get Moon Knight game.
It hurts.
>>92839035
LEGION/REBELS was close to 30 issues on their second ongoing when Flashpoint happened and it's not like you hear about them anywhere, so just the number of issues doesn't really make the A-lister.
>>92827423
The Shade is the best character ever. If you don't believe me, read Robinson's Starman and Shade. He's the greatest character you've never known about.
>>92836169
I can attest to that. I loved the entire series. Wish I still had my old issues. I've been wanting to reread it for a while, but I pawned off my complete singles series when the new show was announced and I was unemployed.
>>92831770
Question about the Helm, can anyone just wield? Was reading the Booster Gold run and there was a page that Darkseid could have used the Helm, would the Lords of Order and Chaos be cool with that? and are the Lords of Order and Chaos stronger than NewGods/4th world beings>?
>>92844983
Please Anon, it hurts too much.
>>92844702
Muh Opal nigga.
Jack is too good for modern DC. He's living a happy life with his child in SF. Shade comes by every now and again to drink warm drinks and catch up. Jack got what all heroes s we love never get, a happy and defiant ending.
>>92848554
My nigga
Karnak is the shit.
Much better away from the current Inhumans, too.
>>92827423
Still my favorite Green Lantern, no matter what they say.
>>92843392
even worse, half a season. I'd still call Constantine a C-lister cause casuals don't know he's a comic character
