Oracle was the only thing about Babs that was ever interesting. She was incredibly boring as Batgirl, just another street level cape. Once she got in that wheelchair, she became a mover and shaker in the superhero community, essentially acting as their Shadow Broker. Now that this has been reversed, she has lost what was unique to her, and thus stopped being interesting.
