By then I think a new franchise will probably be gaining traction.

Maybe they can gyp Universal out of the new harry potter universe film theme park rights. They made a HUGE mistake trying to grab control from JK Rowling, Universal knew that if they wanted Harry Potter they had to be Rowling's bitch. Maybe Disney learned its lesson.

Daily remider going to any disney/universal park during the "summer" is literally the worst thing you can do.

Allways remember avoid going if possible on:
-any dates a week near New years/Christmas or exactly on those dates
-Spring break
-Brazillian tourist season
-Late may/Graduation season
-june - the beginging half of August
-a few days close to halloween

No, probably no. I like my job, but most people I work with don't, and we make next to nothing.

>>92808442
Oh man, that's hard. I've had a lot of good ones, but they just kind of stick together in my head and don't stand out anymore after a while.

The one I think back on most often probably was a British guy yelling at me about how he should be able to get more FastPasses than other people because he's, "disabled," and, "disabled people come first." After he yelled for a while I told him I'd get him on the Jungle Cruise, but he refused because it's a, "baby ride for babies." His daughter said she wanted to ride it, and he told her she didn't. He then kept yelling for a while. Eventually his wife and daughter literally left him and rode without him while he kept yelling.

A Cast Member later asked me how I stayed calm, and I told her it was everything I could do not to laugh in his face. That's how I am with most angry Guests. It's so funny to me that they're using their vacation to yell about nothing instead of just going and enjoying it. It's hilarious, I struggle not to laugh.

Our day at Epcot was more or less lost to the heat, we just had to get back to the resort to cool off in the pool most of the afternoon.
And then the night show wasn't that great because we were in the wind for all the firework smoke.

Fiesta Texas, and I know what you mean about no one speaking english, its about 50/50 here english and spanish. Wouldn't be so bad except they get angry and yell at you when you can't understand them because they're speaking too fast.
Other bad part is Six Flags is cheap as fuck and we're regularly out in that100 degree+ weather like you mention but in our suits that have no ventilation or cooling systems. They only keep us out for 30 mins at a time but holy shit its in direct sunlight with a foam-rubber fatsuit to fill out the character.
Glad to hear you found better though, I guess there's still hope.

I went to orland in mid september, no lines what so ever. Nothing better than going to rides such as harry potter "dragon rollercoaster" or future mountain 2-3 times in a row in less than 30 minutes.

The bad side is that you have to walk those half mile long empty lines every time.

Plus a few rides were on maintenance / disabled because of the low demand.

No. I work with a lot of people who don't like their jobs, but it's more that they have to be nice to people, they're demanding millenials, and they don't get paid alot. Death is a bit much.

That said, I'm not in Entertainment. But I'm pretty sure Entertainment doesn't wish for death by watching them. Probably helps that they have, like, five minutes on stage and 20 minutes off stage or some unreal shit.

>>92809793
In general, people freaking out over nothing. I posted above about the man screaming that the Jungle Cruise was for babies, so he didn't want a FastPass for it, even though his wife and daughter did. That's probably the top.

FastPass in general brings out the dumb from a lot of people. It's a pretty simple system, but there are some people who just cannot into it. I once had a woman complaining to me that it was unfair that FastPass people were going in front of her, since they paid more. I told her it was free, and she started screaming at me that it was untrue. Her husband said something like, "honey, he works here, I'm sure he knows," and she just kept screaming. Then someone behind her told her it was free, and he'd set one up while she was screaming on his phone. She kept screaming saying, "well, it wasn't free when I tried to get one!"

Has anyone been to the new Avatar Land yet?
>>
>>92819983
Yes.

It's way better than I expected. I don't care at all about the property, it's a weird fit in Animal Kingdom, and it's embarrassing how desperate it is to try and be the Wizarding World.

Despite all that, it's really pretty great. Very pretty and detailed with a feel of history in a lot of the design. The boat ride is cool, because I'm a sucker for atmospheric boat rides. The banshee ride is way, way better than I expected. I'm sick and tired of how much the theme park industry is leaning on projection screens instead of physical effects, but it does so much to add to the experience it's about the best in the genre I've seen.

The problem is capacity. Both rides are fairly inefficient. I don't know why they built such small boats for River Journey. The area itself is pretty small, too.

I'd imagine part of the deal they cut with Universal was trademark control and maybe being a prestige part of the park including it's own themed hotel (Universal's been wanting to get into that business in Florida as well). Nintendo likely pulled rank and got a sweetheart deal. Likely in exchange for sharing the Florida park with other companies.

Why would they get rid of one of the daily 4-5 most visited attractions? Do you understand not everyone dislikes the things you dislike?

On a typical day, these are the most ridden attractions in the Magic Kingdom (I know because I have access to the data):

1. Pirates of the Caribbean - Almost always first, unless it has a truly long downtime.

2. Haunted Mansion - Sometimes third.

3. Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin - Sometimes second.

4. Space Mountain - Almost always in this spot.

5. "it's a small world" - Sometimes makes it to fourth, but usually right here.

Then there's a really big drop, with Splash and Thunder alternating spots based on weather, and the Little Mermaid being in the mix as well.

Zootopia attractions when?
>>
>>92823561

Idk man, they're really going all-out with the Star Wars stuff.

At Celebration, it was announced that the new Star Wars land is going to be a canon part of the Star Wars universe. The setting will be a yet-to-be named trading outpost from the days of sub-lightspeed travel, but now it's only populated by smugglers and bounty hunters, and other off-the-grid types. The idea is that it's a place that's always existed, and the characters we know may have been there, we just haven't discovered it yet.

The First Order and the Resistance will both have a presence there, and you could support either. There will be droids roaming around, full-size AT-AT's, and they've even hinted at a full-size sarlacc pit in footage. Also, you'll be able to pilot the Millennium Falcon in a ride that's been hinted at multiple endings.
>>
>>92823659
Maybe it's for the best. I still think Metroid would work better as a show. Kind of like that old Alien Encounter thing.
>>
>>92822656

>>
>>92824610
>>92823659

Super Nintendo Land is supposed to be an "Inbetween" area of the park like Toon Lagoon is in IOA. I'd imagine moderately intense rides have have some speed like Mario Kart being a more interactive version of Test Track or a Zelda
ride with some intense drops like Ripsaw falls. I don't really see them pushing a T-Rated franchise and Universal would probably have a good range of picks from other companies they are signing with if they really wanted to do a Mature dark ride/show like Resident Evil or Gears Of War. (I would do terrible things for a Dead Space ride. Or a new Dead Space for that matter)

Rip-Saw falls though. Fuuuuuuuuuuck.

Especially fuck that drop in the dark

this is from cbr article

>A strange artifact has cropped up right outside Disneyland’s Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout ride, and it’s not an escapee from The Collector’s vast cache of exotic flora and fauna. No, it’s a hatch bearing the familiar insignia of Marvel’s greatest superhero team: the Avengers. The hatch was first noticed shortly after the ride’s grand opening last week, and it might be teasing one of the park’s big, upcoming expansions.

>The new Guardians of the Galaxy ride was announced in Comic-Con International: San Diego in 2016, along with a tease from Joe Rhode, Disney’s Imagineering executive, that the ride would just be the first step in a massive expansion for the park.

>“[The Ride] will be the first of a whole new universe in Disney California Adventure,” Rhode said. “All of this is happening as we speak.”
