I love that the Injustice series always makes the King of the Deep so god damn OP, he is always so fun to steamroll people online with even after you realize the character is doing more work than you (the player) are. I'm hoping he doesn't get nerfed as stays in the top 5 (arguably, the top 3).

They only did it in certain areas to suit the video game's narrative or provide reason for a character's inclusion. I think they realize just how much they had been painted into a corner by the comic writers and wanted some semblance of creative freedom back.

My problem with zoning in this game is that it makes fights super fucking stale/boring. It's not incredibly difficult to get around, it's just the most tedious shit ever in a game of the genre.

I've seriously never had a problem with zoning in any other fighter once I got the hang of the game/characters/projectile speed and what my options are. It's annoying, but I've never been more annoyed in Injustice.

I am glad that we've got the meter roll, but I shouldn't have to constantly burn resources of play this guessing game of duck, duck goose while the zoner can continuously build meter and maintain their distance for free

You really don't understand the difference between sprites and models, do you?

With sprites you just load in X frames per character and that's it. If some of those frames are drawn to look like a dog or a dragon or a 1,000 year old loli elf succubus it makes no difference. In a 3D game, each model has to be loaded and held in memory indefinitely for the duration of the match. If you have a ton of high poly models that need to be available to appear simultaneously at a steady 60FPS, you're going to run into issues. This is why most summonables are either recolors (Darkseid's parademons, Harley's hyenas) or very simple (Cyborg's box and roomba).

A character like Beast Boy, who would require upwards of 5 high poly models to be continuously swapped during gameplay, would be extremely difficult to do on any extant hardware while maintaining the stable framerate required for a fighting game.

I think Brother Eye would work the best as they could set up Brother Eye/OMAC as the main villain while Batman could be a secondary antagonist. They could feed us some line about how Batman became increasingly paranoid over time and felt Brother Eye was necessary. Batman continues to allow Brother Eye more and more access until eventually it usurps his rule. Batman would genuinely believe that using Brother Eye was necessary right up until the end of the game when you beat him in some climatic fight and he realizes he became just as bad as Superman, albeit he took a different path to get to the same point. They've also already addressed Brother Eye's existence in injustice 2. So the groundwork for this has already been laid.

I think the Brightest Day/Blackest Night story-line is far too Lantern specific to really work for the general Injustice universe, unless they wanted Injustice 3 to have like 50% of the roster be Lanterns.

From what I understand the event is limited/exclusive, i.e. you won't be able to get the guaranteed full set all at one time again.

You will still be able to get the set through random drops like every other epic though, from what I understand the movie gear is going to be added to the general loot pool once the event is over.

So it might take you longer to get the full set depending on your luck, but you will still be able to get the full set even if you don't pick up the game this week.

One of the events has the "in the dark" modifier on it and dear sweet Jesus this thing is like an epileptics worse nightmare. It starts out with a slight fade to black every 15-20 seconds but by round five the screen is just flashing like a fucking madman.

So, /co/ I'm enjoying the game and try to learn the characters, but so far all I do is:

>if not, get the second controller and try to learn the character in versus mode to level him up as well

Is the game shitting me, or is the stuff in the diamond boxes tied to the levels of the characters I had when I earned them? I mean I have only Grodd, Swamp Thing and Darkseid leveled up (20,20,10), as I understand it there's no reason to level up the characters before opening the boxes, right? Because so far I opened all the boxes right away.

I also am nearing 6k source crystals, idk if I should buy a premiere skin or just a Grodd shader because as I understand it only a couple of alternate shaders can be in the boxes.
