What have you been drawing lately, /co/?
Fanart, OCs, studies, animation, doodles, you name it! Post what you got!
>TFW you did work on your art and have been basking in the glow of your finished project for almost a month but Batman is slowly starting to make you feel guilty again
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvAKdGrtOeQ
Not too fond of the arms, but I needed a new wallpaper and I always make sure it's my art.
>>92801275
I've been working in two things: finishing the overview of my setting and working the images (old photos that tell the story of some of the characters) for the introducing sequence.
I'm drawing with pencil on paper and inking it digitally. I make a lot more of mistakes that way, but it's faster, and that's a lifesaver.
I've been writing more, not drawing. Not much to show for it, though.
I can't draw and have no good ideas, so nothing
>>92801794
There's just something unsettling about this family.
Maybe it's the eyes?
>>92801891
Yeah, the eyes, probably. When I drew it, it was a tiny drawing and I usually don't draw pupils when I have that problem. And when I inked the drawing, I went with it that way. So now it gives an eerie feel, which is nice, given that almost all of them but the boy are dead.
Have a lil' animation gif of a nervous gal.
>>92801487
The aesthetic of this is oddly wonderful, the backgrounds are great. I really dig this.

I absolutely love this, haha.

>>92802132
>thumbs not stars
Yeah I spent way too much time debating what website I should make this look like. Ended up going for a YouTube look but this ended up doing surprisingly well on Newgrounds so I'm glad I used Saladfingers and Weebl videos at the beginning.
>>92802175
All I know is that I hate the boy. He looks like such a little shithead.
Gonna polish this later, it's part of a series of strios, so might not make total sense on its own
>>92802090
Thanks, and I do like shadows in your line work. Gives it a sloppy cel animation effect.
Dunno, I'm just drawing for fun
Been drawing this molly coddle because she's a cute. I'm mostly trying to get used to drawing on a tablet since I usually draw pen and pencil though I'm not exactly great with that either.
Rebuilding rick with a coat
>>92802641
woops I accidentally sent the working size. I'm fucking dumb.
>>92802657
Nice. How hard was it to put together that turn control? Are you going to have to rebuild the puppet for each angle?
>>92802882
You build one skeleton system with nodes, and then draw/move pieces for other angles (so some of the pieces as he turns are swapped, others are just merely moved/scaled.
Then you use posecopier to turn while animating.
>>92802938
Oh damn. I assumed you were working in After Effects but I have no idea what Posecopier is.
Was this a tutorial posted on that guys channel?
>>92803029
Not sure who you're referring to, but i'm working in toonboom harmony.
Theres no tutorials to do advanced stuff like this in harmony, i've been meaning to do some but just been too busy with other stuff.
A calm-down doodle I happened to really like.
>>92803075
Oh damn are you the guy who made the court fan animation? I assumed he had made a tutorial which you screen capping that from.
>>92803161
Yea i'm the guy who made that haha, the gifs i'm just making as i go.

>>92802938
wow! i've always found that animation technique really cool- the advanced level puppet stuff i mean. you're a trooper for compiling that stuff.
Trying to get that last bit of fanart out of me before the show comes along and ruins everything.
>>92803194
Nice! I haven't been on /co/ in a while but that video was all over the place for a while. You would probably make a killing off of doing a tutorial series.
>>92803336
Cuuuuute. I'm really curious what kind of effects they're going to use for her in the show. I always loved how Karolina's powers were drawn.
>>92803131
A little picture of one of my girls as a wee tot to see if I still knew how to line sculpt. A little rusty, but I think I still understand it. Wish it didn't take so long to do, though.
>>92803323
Your FBF is really smooth above, a great style. Reminds me of Guy Collions work who makes one of my most favorite series (raised by zombies).
>>92803381
Eh not as much as you'd think. The thing with harmony is that there's no real yar hars out there, you have to buy it to use and it's way too expensive for people who aren't animating full time. The kind of people who this would benefit are quite limited, albeit i do help people in the animation discord when they need help with TB as I find there's very little people out there who know how to use the advanced node stuff.
This is what a complex rig looks like node wise
Been drawing this weird creature called a seeing eye. It disguises itself to hide its ugliness. All they want is to live a normal human life and to find a sweetheart.
>>92803484
And finally, another cooldown doodle. Was in a wintry mood for this.
>>92803323
Love the color palette. Do you have a tumblr or something that I can follow?
>>92803440
Weren't there a few frames of her sparkling in the trailer?
>>92803510

Hmmm.
>>92803508
I think you'd be surprised. Tutorials do really well on Youtube. Just making five 10 minute videos called 'How to animate Rick and Morty' would easily break 500K each- even if it was made by someone way below your level of skill.
I see After Effects and Photoshop tutorials hit those numbers all the time.
>>92803737
I like it a lot. The background makes it a little noisy though.
What board has good writing threads?
Is /co/'s Supergirl threads the best there is without getting into 'head up your own ass' writing territory?
>>92803737
It's because stuff like this that I feel ashamed for posting my amateur and bland pics.
Damn, that's cool, anon.
I'm designing a new character. Some thoughts on how design so far would be cool.

I've been digging chompers lately, this design is great! I had something semi-similar in mind.
http://summeroflove-comic.tumblr.com/post/160138373977/summer-of-love-trailer-summer-begins-may-27th
Finally uploaded the first part of the comic I've been leaving bits and pieces of in this thread for months. I posted this in the homestuck thread, got told that the art was shit, don't really disagree considering it's hand-done and utilizes a kind of gritty aesthetic.
It's more of an atmospheric thing I'm going for as opposed to coherent drawings, montage over mise-en-scene and shit like that. I said it was similar to the Nouveau Réalisme art movement, but I doubt that really means anything in terms of my own comic. I would also cite Harry Smith's experimental animations as influential. (Within the first installment it also already has three explicit references to a certain live action director, but that doesn't affect how it looks.) All in all it's really not what would be considered standard /co/ material.
I'm at an impasse on whether to continue updating the comic itself, or abandon telling the story for favor of making longer animations to show for applying to places (in addition to the majority of my stuff being live action.) I would just make the animations, but then I wouldn't be telling a story, and that's where it's all coming from anyway. Just roast me from the motion perspective.
Been working on some side characters and antagonists for a webtoon comic I'm making.
Another lil' gif animation of my gal over at>>92802090
I had been doing a web comic and posting to DA and FA but now I think I want to focus on videos telling the story like the first few He-Man mini comics or Gil Kane's BlackMark.
The whole thing started as a thing for me and a friend to collaborate on. Him writing and me doing the art
>>92808168
That slight undershadow is intentional right? To kind of emulate a physical animation cel? Because I've been trying a similar technique.
Also, Does anyone know how to simulate watercolors in Photoshop, I want to make some background templates, that look hand painted, like old WB, or Ren and Stimpy.
Got a tablet a few months ago so I could learn to draw (I've drawn before, but never seriously). This is my first real attempt at blending and gradation on anything more complicated than a sphere, and even though it's a bit messy, I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out. Eventually I want to do my own comics and animation, but that's still a ways away, so feedback is absolutely welcome.
Here's an ink drawing I finished last night. Tried holding back on over-hatching the background in this one.

>OHHH MY GOSH THIS IS SO CUTE!! Thank you!!! I love it. Why is Jene (tall girl) so mad, though? Hahaha!!!
Aww, you're welcome. Your style is rather fun to draw, especially when your characters' shapes are so deliberate. I was second-guessing myself when trying to draw them the right way, haha.
And to answer your question, I thought Jene would be the protective type who's not too keen on random people hugging her friends. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong.I'm likely wrong, lol.
Doing a mockery of a children's book for a class project. Due in 2 days, but it's okay since the drawings are meant to be super simple and use basic colours.

>>92835596

>>92835120
>Do you believe you'll make it in the art industry, /co/?
Nope. Frankly I don't think I'd want a job in the industry as it currently stands anyway. Though it'd be nice to at least get commission work. But I'm not exactly a high profile internet artist, nor am I gonna act like I'm some pro, so eh, I understand.
>What motivates you?
The simple joy of drawing and seeing my own progress over the years. The stuff I draw typically puts a smile on my face too, so that's a plus. Drawing what I like is probably what's contributed most to my development as an artist, really. It makes me want to draw just a little better next time.
>What keeps your spirits afloat when there's artists leagues better than you?
The worst thing you can do is to constantly compare yourself to other artists. If your mindset is >>92835318 then that's a serious problem on your part, and you need to learn to push those thoughts away. Draw for yourself, first and foremost. That sounds cheesy, but unless you're doing something for pay, it's the best mindset to have. If you can't actually enjoy drawing just for its own sake- for YOUR own sake- you'll never progress.
Drawing Nick Tan reacting to this ripoff freak.
This thread is still alive!
Yes!
I've been working on a videogame about a girl who storms an island of killer football stadiums to rescue her younger brother. Most of the presentation is up to snuff except the title screen, I can't think of a good name for the game proper.
>>92835120
>Do you believe you'll make it in the art industry, /co/?
I once did. It had been a dream of mine ever since I started drawing as a young'n, but I realized not so long ago that I was naive and that there needed to be specific sacrifices and skills for myself if I had that kind of job.
I know my personality well enough to predict how badly art projects would go if I were to participate in them. I have a bad tendency to not care that much about planning out my work, procrastinate and not finish my art on time if it has deadlines. I personally know firsthand that I am also not skilled enough to fulfill commissions. I'm terrible for this kind of job since I don't actually have that much creative juices in my brain.
If you couple this with the low pay and additional jobs I'd have to take up just to make a decent living wage, you would see why it's something I'd rather not have as a job. If I did, I'd probably end up taking years-long hiatuses just to get a small project finished.
>What motivates you?
I'm motivated by my brain being a doofus. Art works out as therapy when I doodle things for myself. Sometimes I say to others that art is just something I do to pass time when I'm bored, but what I really do with it now is just drawfagging for random people on the Internet. It's a nice feeling to give out art to other people who otherwise might not get it if their requests go ignored.
Plus, I get to put my failed-art-industry-standard skills to use and maybe improve on it as I make more art. It would be a shame to just let it waste away and become yet another thing I rumimate on.
>What keeps your spirits afloat when there's artists leagues better than you?
Just acknowledge that they exist and I have my own pace of learning. Not every experience is the same; why should I beat myself over people who've learnt how to make art from different paths of their lives?
I've been taking Steve Ahn's drawing classes. We just wrapped basic anatomy last week, so I feel more comfortable now.
This was initially just a sketch I was doing at a local drawing meetup but it got out of hand once I started taking suggestions, and I ended up kinda digging it, so I guess I'll start to color it later tonight.
>>92835120
90% of my motivation to try and keep improving in hopes that I'll get a studio job one day comes from the fear of not making it. I have very few connections in the industry so I have to rely on hoping my work is just good enough to get me a contract job.
If ten years go by and I still haven't landed some entry position at a major studio, I'll probably just give up and resort to drawing fairy porn.
do we have an assigned day for batman threads? or do they just appear randomly?
anyways i have a few oc animations

this is just a little animated intro im making, last time an anon told me it would be nice to kep the heart beating while it became little, it was a but tricky since shrinking the heart whike beating kinda anulated the animation on my first try so i had to come up with a way to keep the beat constant
>>92817737

>>92835120
I work full-time as a designer who sometimes gets to animate/illustrate. But since all of my company's clients are big name corporations, I rarely, if ever, get to do anything creative.
That said, I get paid better than most designers my age, and I get enough free time at work to do personal stuff on the side.
I think I'm at a point where I need to get my foot in the door of either an animation studio or comic publisher soon or else I'll be "too old" for those entry positions. A big hurdle is my work isn't very focused, so I don't know if I have a collection of work that I could present as a portfolio.
>>92838961
oh hey i use artrage 4 too, well you can first export them as png and then you can resize them using any other program like photoshop or even the windows hoto editor
you could also use the mage all layers option in artrage when you are don and then resize in that program and crop to selection to make the canvas and the pic smaller
or you could try uploading to imgur and posting the link here

>>92835120
well, i kinda have my hopes up right now, while my animation skills are growing, i really enjoy trying stuff and i have my color theory on a decent level, my lines are still super wobbly at times but i know that with enough practice it will be fixed someday
overall i feel like my stuff is good enough and still has a lot to improve, the animation indistry is growing in my country so that motivates me a lot
and when i really have a lot of doubt, i remember that sometimes contacs are the most important thing, i mean look at pic related, a little "animation" about marty sucking doc's ball somehow into reddit's favorite show

Jawbreakers here is the most recently finished one.
give me your quick opinions on these designs.
don't be gentle, i can take it.
just tell me what works, and what doesn't
>>92841592
allright, well most of them seem to be stylized pretty well
but some of them like the yellow knight and the human kid seem to have little perspective and or proportion issues but it's no big deal
now the colors aren't really bad per se but there are just a lot more things you could do if you level up your color theory
here is a little video thet wil teach you how to blend colors in a better way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yh12RA3ha0U
from what i see here all you do while you color is pic a base color and then go light or darker for the shadows and lighting, this can work fine in things closer to grayscale like the guys on top, but i feel like that yellow knight really needs you blending a bit of orange and maybe even red there in order to make it shine more
>>92842219
yeah, i actually have protonopia colorblindness, so color is something im just trying to train myself at getting better at without handicaps.
thanks for the feedback!
>>92842219
also here's some concept shit to explain what the fuck they even are.
>>92839562
I'd hate for this to be a case of the blind leading the blind and you think I can see because I managed to not run into a wall this one time.
But my likely simplistic understanding of the underlying anatomy of the foot is it's a series of thinner bones that just give off the illusion of a larger form.
They can sort of shift and fold to change shape a bit.
So for this particular image I drew a simpler version of the bones of the foot so they wouldn't look like big awkward clodhoppers stappled to her ankles.
But that still happens from time to time.
>>92843787
protonopia colorblindness
oh that's very interesting in that case i think, that the best think you can do to make your characters look amazing is get reallly into inking and lineweight, if you can master that you will be able to draw rad as hell shadows and even metal textures only with black ink nad then use only the best signature color of each of your characters
here is an example i just picked from google

I think the heartbeat needs a little more, the heart kind of just shrinks and grows, but I think to sell it a little more you just gotta hand draw different frames, with a bit more variation int he shape. Just draw these in super quick. I also think when the heart turns into a creature, it should move a little faster. Ease into it, and it'll look fuckin' great my dude

>>92835120
>Do you believe you'll make it in the art industry,
Unlikely, but who knows. That doesn't stop me from doing art though, being exhausted does however.
> What motivates you?
Seeing good arts made about subject that I am interested in motivates me, it inspire me to try my hand at it again. So does things that have a lot of potential but badly executed. I want to make my own version in those instance. I still retain some of my youthful arrogance and thought I might do better.
>What keeps your spirits afloat when there's artists leagues better than you
That has never been a problem for me, nowadays I more running into my physical limit and lack of time. Working long hours and sleep deprivation really does a number on me. When I see artist who are better than me I just get inspired to try, because I want to see what I am interested being expressed from the thing I learned from those other artists.

Hey guys over the weekend i picked up the Wizard Magazine how to draw book with lessons from big time artists. I have to say its been super helpful and im only 30 pages in.
Heres some ones i made after doing some of the lessons
>>92835120
>Do you believe you'll make it in the art industry, /co/?
Eh, I teach high school art full-time... so I can do my thing but have a steady income until I can make a living off of this, or at least achieve that magical Patreon salary.
Also this is an age where you don't need a foot in the door to be successful. You can market your shit online, achieve an audience, and answer to no one.
>What motivates you?
Mortality. I have shit I want to draw and write and share with others before I shuffle off this mortal coil.
>What keeps your spirits afloat when there's artists leagues better than you?
This is the tough one for me. But then I look at old shit I made and realize I'm still improving so whatever. Also some of the most beloved comics and cartoons and whatnot out there aren't absurdly detailed or complex. Gotta find your own strong suits and push them as much as possible.
Seriously this is a lesson that I have to smack my students with all the time because we have a few genius artists in my classes that make the rest feel like failures.
>>92862478
Yeah, the two on the left are magical girls while the one on the top is a "dark" magical girl from an older generation. In the context of my story, the other two aren't; instead they're sorceresses.
>>92835120
>Do you believe you'll make it in the art industry
I have to
>What motivates you
It's either that, suicide, or a life where the former is preferable.
>What keeps your spirits afloat
Well closest thing to keeping my spirits afloat is that I don't need to be the greatest in the world, I've seen shit that gets paid for. I just need to find the people that pay for that and try to improve for better gigs.

Bones it's been like 3 years I've seen you posting on here. How is it that you haven't improved? Your technique is stagnant, yet you litter /co/ with your practices almost daily. How long does each of these pages take you to make? You seem to enjoy sprinkling your process like bread crumbs before concluding with your work. I'm not gonna judge your writing, but the fact that you have been doing this for so long with minimal results is genuinely concerning. It feels more like you want your work to be seen rather than it feel actually indulging. Maybe you should consider a career in advertising?

I don't think I'll make it anywhere. But my friend who draws your casual anime with bad anatomy made it to a university in England, so I guess it could be possible for me. I don't think I want to though. For what motivates me, I don't know to be honest. I was born this way, I had some little talent I never exploited. I enjoy drawing, making something that epresses my feelings. I improved a lil' bit but I can't see myself making it anywhere near some furry artist who makes thousands of dollars a painting or a professional animator or storyboard artist who sits in some companys' headquarters and puts his creativity to use.
When I see people doing better, well, I know there's a lot of them - I have a problem with envy. I know it's always up to me to do better and I shouldn't strive to be someone else but it's hard when you see a person - especially younger than yourself - that gets it right the first time. But I can definitely look at good art and enjoy it.

If you're just starting out, you probably start with 5 or 10 lb weights.
If you've been doing it for a while your warmup might start with 35 lb weights. You're not showing off. But warming up with 5 lb weights just ain't cuttin' it anymore.
Drew my OC the other day. Added colors and all that- nothin' too special or fancy. Still experimenting and figuring out stuff.
>>92885950
Mentioning it makes no difference. It only serves to let people know that something could be better or was done quickly.

>>92831673
Too much text. Either cut some of it, or make the font smaller.
>>92882959
Nice coloring, nice linework, interesting if a bit noisy background-
But all that doesn't amount to much when your character's anatomy looks weird.
You either need to practice creating a more defined, interesting silhouette and could probably start using reference to better understand how a relaxed body should look. Studying anatomy will help with both of these.
Just look at the weight of your character and where their center of gravity. It looks like they're in the middle of a trust fall.
I can tell you've put some effort into learning how to use your tools properly but you need to start studying real life reference, even if you'r enot going for a realistic look.

Managed to bust out 2000 words on my comic bible. Gotta make sure my story works in narrative form before I start translating it to panels.
>>92895174
I was trying to start my own comic broble. Any advice on how to go about it?
>>92895393
I'm by no means a professional but here's what I've been working with. Below are all of the sections that I think are necessary for a comic bible.
1. Series Mantra
>Whether it be a theme or an idea, what is going to be pushed more so than anything else? Some may not have this but I think it's necessary to keep in the back of your mind every time you add to it.
2. Character Roster (Protagonist, ANtagonist, Side Character). I'd include...
>Appearance
>Personal History
>Powers (if applicable).
>Knowledge and Other Skills
>Personality
3. Groups or Organizations in your world.
>My comic is pretty expansive so I've created a multitude of corporations that will come into play. I would include a purpose for the company, organizational structure, and how it will play in to your story.
4. Rules of the Universe
>Although I don't have a section like this in my comic bible, for series that attempt to provide in depth explanations for science/magic, it helps to have the physics of your universe written out. I think I cover this in my character descriptions but I may go back and add.
5. Chronology of the Series
>I've split this chapter into three separate sections.
>Events that supplement the world.
>Events that advance the plot.
>Events tied to specific characters.
>>92895666
Shit forgot a section.
After chapter 3 (groups organizations), I'd also include a comprehensive list of locations (protagonists home), landmarks (memorials), or other geographical characteristics associated with your world (scorched earth in some areas because of super conflict).
>>92895666
>>92895808
Alright I actually am doing a few things right. good to know I'm in the right direction. The mantra one is one I haven't even thought about yet!
Either way good luck on your story, bruv. I'm gonna work on mine abit more.
>>92895134

>>92895134

lol, the art
>>92837788
>>92897803
Agree.
>>92897761
You got genuine talent.
>>92897701
I wouldn't say you're missing it as this could possibly be put into some of the other sections but since you're saying your world is very expansive maybe have a few paragraphs on the regional differences of places. Try and give a reason, if there is any, on why some people act a certain way if they come from somewhere. For example, I was toying with an idea for my story (capeshit) that because of the time meta humans began to appear, it would create very harsh restrictions on what people could do.
>Why launch a satellite when the flying zappy Russian/American can just blow it up?
But this is the very early stages of my story so I'm not too sure you should follow my advice. But that's what I saw missing.
>>92897806
das nice, mang.
>>92898020
I think you're definitely on the right track for inclusion. It's important to know how culture/society has been affected as a result of "x" event. I'm going more of a 1984 route with a severely altered political landscape (Gerald Ford stays in office which leads to a fundamentally altered every US election and policies/attitudes going forward).
I know this is not necessarily something that everyone agrees with, but I consider continuity as a strength, not a constraint. I go the Young Justice Route with establishing time, date, and year for my events. I know that might be overkill but it gives me a level of precision with plot that I wouldn't want to give up.
>>92895134
I can genuinely see this being displayed in a Modern Art exhibit desu senpai
>>92897165
>>92897918
These anons are right
>>92898339
Oh, continuity is one of the big things that make a good story. I recall one of the Brandon Sanderson classes he makes a point of having continuity being a key feature to keep readers reading in the long-term. Plus with the infamous retcons that reside in comics it would be refreshing to see a story that remembers it's own rules.
>>92898695
Agree with everything you said. Probably explains why I find Invincible one of teh best cape comics ever to come out. It sticks with it's decisions and proudly goes forward into uncharted territory, allowing the story to progress in unexpected ways that subvert expectations.
>I find Ultimate Hulk vs. Wolverine to be one of the best series that manages to deliver on premise while simultaneiously subverting audience expectations.
It was a weird series that constantly shifted perspective and tone and while I didn't all work as cohesively as it could have, it still presented a unique story in an interesting way.
>>92895666
>>92895808
Whatever happened to the "How's Your Webcomic" threads?
>>92895666
Also, those trips, too spooky.
I'm gonna finally get around to coloring this, thanks to whoever brought this show to my attention.
>>92898905
While I haven't read Invincible myself, I do find the idea of progressing cape stories very intriguing (Now if I only had the money for trades) However I have read Hitman, while progress is much more short term, just the fact there's a story that won't reboot gives a satisfying conclusion. Which isn't to say I hate the big 2 for not doing that. I perfectly understand why they don't do this. But it does take a good chunk of potential story possibilities.
Another thing that BS said was that it seems characters are more concrete in opinions than actual people are. Usually a change in perspective is much more slow than a normal people. Just another point of wanting continuity in the story.
>>92899124
Since I asked the question I guess that I'll apologize.
>>92899327
Continuity makes my dick rock hard. Because of reading legacy series like JoJo, I started charting out sequel stories in my mind for my own comic. I try not to delve too deep or else it will become overwhelming, but having a gameplan for several generations of characters makes me more willing to actually end the first story, rather than have it continue for decades until I eventually lose fans and burn out like so many other webcomics.
>>92899327
>there's a story that won't reboot gives a satisfying conclusion.
So true. Something about a story that "sticks" gives it a sense of weight that other stories don't quite have. For instance, a Death in the Family (written by Jenkins) is my favorite Spidey story of all time. But the fact that Spidey's universe has been rebooted the story is now rendered obsolete by current comics and thus no longer needs to be considered in the bio of certain characters. Somehow knowing that a story no longer factors in decreases the weight associated with said story. It now makes it feel more like an elseworld's, a story with no meaningful changed impacted on the character that will never be referenced.

>>92912887
That sounds amazing. Now I need to add a ghost to the picture.
>>92912931
I don't mean this to sound weird, but I'm wondering if you are black.
I ask because the drawing is good, and sometimes it seems like other people are almost afraid of drawing black people, perhaps fearing that they will be branded a racist based on the depiction. Maybe I'm wrong, but I know anything can look awkward when you are practicing. An artist practicing can be very sensitive, and depiction of race is definitely controversial to many.
Again, the picture is great. I'm just being curious.
>>92913123
Thanks. And yeah I'm black. I can understand people being hesitant to draw black people with black features especially if they want to do anything a little cartoony or exaggerated even though that sort of thing has never bothered any black person I've ever personally met. But there are always people who might want to jump on the "that's racist" bandwagon.
>>92913424
I made sure to practice a bit in college and i was relieved that i didn't get any sort of negativity about it. I didn't want to be afraid to draw ODB, lol

Just a heads up, you might not want to use 100% black when doing a greyscale, since it makes it harder to add color to your shadows later. Some people like black as a style choice, but it often leaves the picture looking flat.
>>92933209
Why do you do this man... you waste all your time on 4chan posting a shitty comic that noone reads, replying to every single comment and constantly samefagging to bump the thread, every single day. Just why, why are you doing this. Nobody cares.
You know that 4chan is a small website right? If you're looking to become the next CWC you should move on to YouTube or something.

>ou know that 4chan is a small website right?
oh you are definitely either a brand new kid thats just here for the summer or hardcore on the autism spectrum. You do know 4chan is the reason trump is in the white house right? 4chan is still making the news on random NEWS websites about that to this day june 2017, and during the election we, at /pol/ made it on the tv news several times, so fuck off with this small website shit, its you that have a small website, its your brain full of cobwebs son. Now sit there and choke on your own ignorance you insignificant spec of nothing.
My little lass but she's a fucking wiener and a golden showers yellow.
>>92932333
The hard contrast you gave to the skin in the greyscale pic made it look metallic. Light diffuses very softly on skin, with such a contrasting valor pic the skin looks a bit artificial in the coloured one so far... Nothing that can't be alleviated with some changing to the skin tone, like blushing and such.
>>92931918
Those are nice, I like that kind of rough style.
>>92928664

Don't neglect getting good at technical aspects and focus only on story. In your gif the facial features move a bit too much. Nose shouldn't be moving at all. And I don't think you have the timing *just right* yet. But that is something that takes more practice than I've ever put in.

I highly doubt that. Trump won due to the electoral college vote.

That's extremely unpleasant behavior you aim at others. You should think more about what you put out there and understand maybe why people scowl at your presence.
And Hilary got the popular vote. The main reason Trump won was because he appealed to the working class who were right in voting him in on the basis that the education systems in America were fixated on pumping out factory workers in a country where manufacturing industries had already moved to places like China or India for cheap, quick labor.
Meme Magic as funny, epic and super ironic as you think it was, didn't really play a huge factor into getting Trump the role of presidency. In fact, if we're being honest here, Hilary would've won if it weren't for the e-mail leaks (Which not a lot of people read; despite being outraged about what they heard of them which were mostly untrue, such as those correlating to the Pizzagate Scandal.)
Not that I favor either of them.
TL;DR Version: Wrong.

He's right about education in America tho.
I'm not sure about Trump's stance on science nor do I care but I believe he's right in saying that education should be Common Core. Compared to State Standards, it's pretty much a way more effective education system because America isn't housing as much open factories anymore. Common Core would prepare its students for College and Careers. Standardized Tests don't measure educational quality.
