Old Green Lantern comics suck shit

there are a few gems here and there but your right for the most part

It's not all terrible, but most of the Silver/Bronze Age GL stuff is largely remembered as historical context.
John and Guy were both more interesting than Hal, and that says a lot, considering how wooden John was for most of his existence. And Guy works best in a humorous context, a la Giffen/DeMatteis JL.
