I enjoyed Edena quite a bit. I've read it multiple times. I find it similar to Corben's Den in that it has a dreamlike structure in place of a traditional plot. However, in the case of both artists, I think that's more a product of making it up as they went along than intent.

Well the short version is you aren't really paying attention. just as a single example, there's been a lot of discussion of the future of Archie comics lately, with them pushing all their chips on the CW show riverdale and losing the sonic license.

Cerebus is genuinely good but gets weirder and stranger and more unconventional as it goes on.
I have fond memories of it but I stopped by TPB #7 Flight.

generally non-big two threads end up as pretentious circle jerks between five faggots claiming nobody reads comics if they don't know the ins-and-outs of every obscure comic.

Nobody is here to stroke your ego. You want to talk about a non-big-two book make the thread. If others want to join in they will. Avoid being a faggot or allowing them to shitpost unchecked in your thread and they might garner some discussion.

Personally, I think giving the cartoon fags their own board would improve the comic discussion by at least keeping them from getting bumped off by Samurai Jack and every other garbage CN cartoon. We'd still have to deal with moviefags.
