You can't have a black guy in kick-ass armor and a very rigid sense of justice go out and take out bad guys.

Jim is not Tony. Tony is an engineer, an innovator. He has a surprisingly inflexible no-kill code, given how deadly his armor has proven to be when used by other people than himself.
Jim is a warrior. He will not brook evil.

And he will kill. He is not the Punisher - but for his targets, this does not make much difference.

Now how is Hollywood going to make a movie about this that will do justice to the subject?

I'm really sick of the MCU honestly. Fanboys like to say "muh different genres" and that Winter Soldier was a political thriller but let's not kid ourselves. Until they stop homogenizing their films I'm out except for Infinity War

We could bring back an older Iron man villain like Vanko or Iron Monger. The story could be that the villain is secretly alive and has been plotting his revenge for years and a weakened War machine has to stand his ground against them.
