New timeline boys. All this shit happens after Team Teen (Plus B) have met.

The big reveal at the end of the series is that their shared universe is a Mandela Effect caused by multiversal tampering. Once the big bad is defeated, their shared world gets split and back to normal.

Speaking as someone who's been with this fan-series for a while now, I feel inclined to agree.

Not only is it generic and rather dull, but it's also not really original. Team Teen was already used as a name in MLAATR for Misty's team. Cartoon Heroes Unite is another popular name for this series and while it's somewhat better, it's still generic.

I really want Global or Universal Protectors of the New Millennium to be the name of the team. I know it might not be a good name and a bit long, but at least it's a little more original than Team Teen.

I think vidya characters are fine if they had an animated series.
One of my future animations has Ben as XLR8 running through the desert and sees that Sonic the Hedgehog formed a team of other animal speedsters like Turbo, Roadrunner, and Speedy Gonzales.
They're later seen hanging at Mr. Smoothy's as Ben asks what them what the heck is going on.

If I were to animate this which Sonic would you guys want, AOSTH/Satam version, or Sonic Boom version?

With that said, if you're going to have Sonic in an animation, you might as well use Boom Sonic since it's CN and people tend to talk more about the cartoon than the game.

That's not to say you can't deviate from those rules. I mean, people like Doodley have already done that.
However, these rules are, in my opinion, recommended for this fan-series so it doesn't end up being a full-on clusterfuck like so many other crossovers online. Basically, trying to put in anime or vidya into a crossover like this is like trying to put ice cream on a pizza.

I recommend anyone who's planning on doing a a comic or a fanfic with a finite story in mind, to follow these rules, or at least don't deviate from them.
My animations are 30 second long standalone adventures just are showing sequences, without even having dialogue. I feel I have a little more freedom to go batshit crazy, since I'm not telling a story in a traditional format.

Video game and anime are going to be used sparingly since I'm not really big into either.

Also, if you guys have any fun ideas you want to see animated, let me know.

Like I generally feel like if it's a world hopping thing, different art styles, but if it's a shared-universe should look a tad more homogenous, as long the style falls under the umbrella of "cartoons" instead of trying to emulate manga or standard cape comic style.

Thanks! Yeah, I could have easily go for the "all the villains try to backstab each other" route that so many crossovers tend to go for, so I decided to get that all out of the way here with a simple fight to show who's stronger and such.

For Vilgax there, I really wanted to emulate that OS mentality he had of brains and brawn, and not just sit around and scheme or use stuff to power himself up, as later series had him doing.

I've been battling with that decision for a long time. One one hand a unified art style makes everyone blend well together, and for some artists it's much easier to draw. On the other hand, I love having characters with differing art styles together in the same shot, growing up with the CN Powerhouse and City bumpers. Readers seem to like that as well, otherwise you're bogged down with people confused on who that character is supposed to be.

It basically boils down to the artist and what's easiest to do. I wouldn't mind seeing a standard cape style, but anime/manga style has been so played out for these kind of things, it's boring.

Well with TFA, it's unique in that, instead of the Autobots and Decepticons having already wrecked virtually everything and still insisting on killing each other, the Autobots kept control of Cybertron while the Decepticons are kept on the outskirts, with Megatron most recently suffering a huge defeat.

...Though scale would admittedly be a pretty big problem for group scenes, since Decepticons seem to average as approximately Diamond sized, so... probably not a good idea for any drawn works.

Oh no, I completely understand the continuity of TFA, the problem is that I can't find a good excuse to get them involved with the story as theirs ended.

Here are the big rules that I'm following for my crossover:
1. No original characters
2. Follows the original plot of the show
3. Things have to make sense within the context of the show.

So as TFA ended, with everyone back on Cybertron and not Earth, I can't think of a reason to bring them into the story, without taking away from what I currently have planned, which would only impede the pacing and slow everything down.

But you need to understand that we simply cannot have Artemis in the story, he just doesn't belong here this is for CN, Disney and Nick characters only. Any more than that and we could lose sight of the original intent of our story. OK, so Artemis Fowl is essentially out since his inclusion would break the animation-only rule. To the anon trying to include, I'm sorry, but we have these rules for a reason.

On the subject of rules, Lord Fuse may need to be excluded as well. While he is a CN original, he only appeared in FusionFall, a video game which only had a comic adaptation and nothing beyond it. An exception might be made for him, but we may need to exclude him for the sake of maintaining some integrity in the project.

Given that this project's been around since 2014, that's not saying much.

With that said, you do have a point. Getting angry and continuously trying to push a certain character into the story is not a good way to have people interested in them, especially if said character doesn't really fit into the setting. We're really trying to make the story good and not just your average mega-crossover dumpster fire. I get that it's a really hard thing to accomplish, especially on the internet, but that shouldn't discourage anyone from trying.

Plus, as been pointed out before, there's no singular vision. We're all just fucking around, sharing ideas, then anyone who wants to make anything takes what they like and make something out of it, and only three-four people really have, each with their own continuity. CrossoverGuy's is the best and least cringe-worthy thing here, and he's keeping it simple with no more than 10 series being represented.
I mean, if anyone wants to put Artemis Fowl in THEIR comic/fanfic/cartoon, that's their choice. No need to lose your shit if others don't want to do that.

The idea I've always had for this is that TFA would cameo in a side story in which Megatron is busted out of prison and, with some other cons, travels back in time to destroy Prime and his bots while they're still in stasis in the past. The trouble here of course is finding a reason for Megs to decide "TIME TRAVEL" all of a sudden.

In the event that issue can be solved, Prime and the Autobots would head back after them, they'd run into the Team, and have a misunderstanding resulting in a fight (maybe) before teaming up to stop Megs.

The main potential interactions we could get from this would be Sari and Jenny being elated at meeting another robot like them (them being unique robot girls in their respective settings) and Kim and Prime relating to each other's leadership experiences. Those are the ones off the top of my head, at least.

I mostly disagree with including them, at least as team members. Star's really the only character I could see as an actual team member since she actually uses magic. Steven's a bit shaky. He would kinda fit into the setting, but I don't really want to see anyone alienated by his inclusion. Plus, he already has his own team with the Crystal Gems and it'd be hard to write him on both teams.

Dipper and Mabel just aren't real superheroes. They've stumbled into some extraordinary shit, sure, but they just don't really fit as actual team members. I could see them being in a supporting cast, but that's it.

And yeah, I did realize that while Doodley's crossover was more streamlined to work as a episodic thing, which isn't a bad thing at all, but my comic functions more as a contained story. There's a beginning, middle, and end. I'm ultimately building up to a conclusion and sticking to plot elements from each of the shows I'm using, some more than others.

Ultimately I chose to do it this way so I wasn't running rampant with dozens of characters who really wouldn't fit into the story.

But it doesn't mean I'm not willing to take suggestions either, they just need to be able to fit properly into what I have in mind.

When it comes to Star, I remember hearing that she's not interested in being a hero, but she just likes fighting monsters. I feel that Marco encouraged her to join the Team so he can come along too and experience a little danger.
As for Steven, I can see him wanting to join the Team if he has time to do it on the side along with helping the Crystal Gems. Mostly I just want to animate him engaged in combat with and alongside other characters as I like his moveset. Oddly enough, of the episodes I already have planned, he's not in any of them.
As for the Pines, they aren't superheroes, if anything they are junior investigators in the paranormal, and avoid engaging in combat. But between Mabel's grappling hook and the shrink/growth ray, they can hold their own until backup arrives.
