I'm a screenwriter by trade and want to murder Genndy for how he wrote himself into a corner and fucked up his message. His writing is absolute dogshit on a technical level and it disgusts me. I've seen better drivel come from college freshman who've just taken babbie's first screenwriting class and think they're Aaron Sorkin.

I do not mourn Ashi's death though I like the character, I mourn the ability to tell a coherent story.

I'm somewhat over but still doesn't excuse gennedy over that horrible ending. My belief Is that he did this on purpose so he can pitch a new up to date show about Jack's struggle in early Japan and his conscious. A subplot would be ashi but more then likely he'll stick to the formula of season 1 through 4 with new fresh villains and hopefully find new love. Or he could be a hack and just fuck everyone over

Denial and anger. Unless headcanon is applied, the thing is ruined for me.
