I doubt she can comprehend the "chess board" as anything more than a flattened rectangular prism floating in a void.

I do like Janna as a character, though.
I also like a fan theory from /co/ where Marco grows up and marries Jackie, but they get divorced and Janna is there to pick up the pieces. Janna ends up being a good wife to Marco and a better parent to Marco's children than Jackie could ever be.
