Was wondering what /co/'s favorite Superman era was. My personal favorite is Up Up and Away. Love the way it puts an emphasis back on Clark and gives him some nice character beats.

My favorite would be '86 to '99, back when supporting casts mattered.
Post Crisis, the Byrne, Ordway, and Stern stuff

Yeah where is Jimmy at these days?>>92676126
Would you recommend reading from Man of Steel on?

Byrne's 86's run. The one and true Superman.

I unironically like the Electric Superman era.

The post "1 year later" period was fucking unbelievably high quality. Johns, Busiek, Superman Confidential, All Star Superman, and Superman/Batman all coming out at the same time. Utterly insane.

This was cool, too, until it fell apart in the early 90s.
Not exactly an era but I love Morrison's Action Comics.

I liked the beginning of that run it started to fall off around the imp stuff. All Star is the best Superman story I have ever read.
I started collecting when Loeb took over
he's still my favorite Superman writer ever
Shield era gets a lot of shit but doesn't deserve it at all in my opinion.

Lobdell's run is better

I like a little of the Jurgens stuff, mostly the Reign of the Superman. Cyborg Superman is such a show stealer
