Why is it so hard to make a good Spider Man movie?

Because they can't get past the build up, which is so ingrained into culture at this point there's really no need to keep showing how Peter Parker became the Spider Man everybody knows him as.

Spider-Man is built to be a serial, not self-contained.

The first two Superman and Spider-Man movies did it right; build a movie like a good "episode" with some B and C plots thrown in.

Also his entire supporting cast is brown, and they're using some of miles for some reason.
