If you mean young bruce adventures, it's because it took him a long time to learn how to batman.
Young, foolish superman is still bulletproof, young foolish batman would just die.

If it was me, I'd change Bruce's origin story to Rha's Al' Ghul being a friend of the Waynes, and the moment they get killed (By Rha's goons) he takes Bruce under his wing, and trains him into becoming a weapon of the League of Assassins up until his first assignment, in which he is so traumatized by death that he can't bring himself to kill the target, and turns on his enemies.

Then you can have Young Bruce adventures where he is a glorified ninja instead of Batman.
