I wish.
Using cartoons for telling stories about war is a tricky business considering there isn't a big audience for such a thing
Waltz with Bashir was p. cool.

Peace on Earth is a particularly striking short because it was made in a team where the worst conflict known to man was WWI. Funnier since it was released the year WWII began. It's interesting to see the idea that the end of the world would come through so much Warfare, constant bombing and artillery shells, and how it apparently destabilized the entire globe (though I find that sorta hard to beleive). Before WWII with things like more advanced warfare, advanced Vehicular Warfare, fire bombing, Blitzkrieg, The Holocaust, and the Atomic Bombing of Japan, the worst of war folks had ever known or seen was Barbwire, muddy trenches, artillery barrages, and Chemical Warfare, with Gas Mask being the most popular image of a typical WWI Grunt.
Then in the 50s we would see the sequel Good Will to Men emulate the horrors post-WWII, with all that I just said, including rockets and Flame Throwers, as well as a re-newed and more likely fear of the end of the world via Atomic Warfare.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
