I originally thought Snyder was being Snyder when filming this scene but upon reflection it was actually well done. Music choice is hit or miss depending on my mood.

If you were the Director in this movie, how would you adapt this scene? Would you keep the squid or go with someone closer to Snyder?
>I think the squid is possible but I woudn't know how to go about it unless it was a TRUE 1:1 translation, but I'm 99 percent positive that might be too much for the casual movie goer.

Billy Crudup turned in an absolutely stellar performance. Every time I read this series he is what I imagine. Honestly, most of the cast I imagine in their roles save Ozymandias. Matthew Goode was in a tough position because I feel like this Ozzy was much more overtly villanious than the comic version. And I think it has more to do with the directing than the acting.

I always enjoyed Adrian's character. It was so unlike any other hero I had seen at the time. Also it's really interesting to see "The World's Smartest Man" also be one of the most physically capable (even in his early-mid forties). I'm glad that Moore still established that earlier in his career the Comedian put him in his place. Snyder probably took the original fight a bit too far with regards to its adaptation but I still really liked it it. It was fascinating to see Ozymandias straight up dismantle his teammates wihile appearing to exert almost no effort.
