Whomever OK'ed pic related and whomever is responsible for drawing pic related should both have their primary hands crippled and be driven from the industry. This type of content on an A/B list book is an egregious offense. Where in the hell is the quality control? I'm for innovative new styles but if this is the content being produced then ethics would be re-evaluated. Filipe Andrade may be able to generate this horseshit in a timely fashion but this presentation is god awful.

I liked the character Charlotte in "the Princess and the Frog." I thought that was the direction that they were going to go with Asami when she was first introduced, but instead they didn't do much with her at all. She ended up being armcandy instead of a real character.

It goes back to Claremont, and he knew how to write her. Kitty is annoying a lot of the time, I agree, but under Claremont she was good and it's why so many writers love her but should never write her

The very definition of a filler villain, and the fact that he continued to be a prominent character up until the very end of the comics baffles me, because he's never been interesting in any capacity despite the repeated attempts at doing so. I mean, I think characters like the Brotherhood of Guardians, Ash, and Tommy are objectively worse, but at least the former fucked off after a while, Ash was basically irrelevant, and Tommy died.

I'm only familiar with Aaron's Thor, who's a braggart and a bully with a superiority complex. If I ever get around to reading other authors, my opinion might very well change.

Starlin's writing is very dull to me, which keeps me from wanting to dig more into Adam. What I have read makes him out to be a long-winded tool without any real distinctive personality whose favorite pastime is posturing at his butt-buddy, Thanos.

In both cases you've got these characters with top-tier, for Marvel, powersets, who just really don't seem to deserve them. Neither of them, based on my admittedly limited knowledge of them, is compelling enough to warrant the prominence and iconic status they have. They're just boring, so I feel like them being as strong as they are is supposed to make something about them interesting, but it doesn't.
