Is anyone else sick and tired of this "MUH ORIGINALITY" bullshit? The human imagination is actually quite limited, and everything that has been done had by then already been done a thousand times before. Hell, we even have words denoting that, like 'genre', 'trope', 'convention'. Shit, even the dirt farming primitives of the ancient world figured this out. "There is nothing new under the sun."? That's from the Christian Bible. So it's pretty fucking annoying whenever people think a creator is stealing from other works, when people have been rehashing the few ideas humans are capable of since fiction first became a thing.
