RIMBA RACER season finale pt 2

That Meika plot twist is still amazing. Again, it's hard for me to tell if it was brilliant writing or terrible writing. Without foreshadowing, any big twist is tantamount to an ass-pull. The best plot twists, the ones that work, are hinted at in advance. There were no hints here.

But I still loved it.

It's a tale of two shows, really. Episodes 1-7 are more of an action-racing cartoon, while episodes 8-13 are more of a conspiracy-drama.

Already I'm disappointed by the YouTube comments. They're seriously shocked by the Riq reveal? That was a minor league twist. The Meika one was the big one.

I'm going to miss Cuckoo.

Why wasn't Riq happy to see his son for the first time in, what, over a decade? Him being all scowls at the end bugs me. Maybe he'll end up being a douchebag who never really cared about Tag and just cares about his mission.

They aren't going to.

The show still hasn't "taken off". It's done better than I would have expected on YouTube, but it's not getting thousands of views, either. Most people still haven't heard of it. I've not seeing any news articles about it or any advertisements for it.
