I know this is an unpopular opinion but I'm actually gonna be pissed if Aku just dies and Jack and Ashi live happily ever after. Aku has such an upper hand now that the only way the good guys can win without any major sacrifices is by pulling a bunch of fortune cookie nonsense out their ass and giving the protags a stupid amount of plot armor. Having Jack and Ashi kill Aku just because they're good and Aku is bad is the most fucking childish and predictable fairy tale ending they can give this series. It's not that Jack doesn't deserve to be happy, but life doesn't always give you what you deserve. Ridding this world from evil cannot be achieved without making huge sacrifices.

You expect me to think that a cosmic embodiment of evil can be defeated through the power of love and friendship? Hell no, that's some fucking liberal hippy garbage. The only thing that would make sense at this point is to have Jack and/or Ashi die in the process of defeating Aku (preferably Ashi since she's not just infected with Aku but biologically half Aku).

Jack with his magic sword has been shown at least five times before to be entirely capable of kicking Aku's ass already. The only garbage here is that Aku always conveniently escapes at the last second. This is a long time coming.
