I'm not sure why but I like how this design replaces a lot of the white with yellow/gold. It feels less like an American flag without losing the important symbols.

It'd already been done, and way better, when Big Barda had a merged GL Ring and Mother Box. On top of that, Scott "died" and escaped death by fleeing his soul into the device, becoming the living embodiment of that merger
