Annie makes poor decisions and is quite terrible at many things, despite being a cute, rather intelligent, and (mostly) dignified young girl at what is basically Magic School.

Which is partially why she, and Gunnerkrigg as a comic, are so damned endearing.

yes, but its been going for a long long time and will be going for a long long time after this post. Also toms early art style is good for the buildings but not for characters, this improves as the comic goes on into an alright style, see OP pic.

It's a pretty good coming-of-age story with mixes of sci-fi and fantasy with some very colorful characters and a lot of different arcs. Overall, it's relatively comfy with an interesting story and some comedy here and there.

If you do, you really should start from the beginning, it's over 1800 pages at this point
Things move slowly, so you get to process most of the info properly, but if you forget about something, you could always check out the wiki, it'srelatively up-to.date, but you still should go through the comic once first.
