What was the moral of this show?
That there are nicer terms for middle easterners
People at PFFR said it was a warning about the dangers of New Age spirituality, but honestly I don't think there was a moral.
The show has god tier humor though.

Each episode is kind of a parody of some kind of storytelling cliche or a specific well known story.
>"Chief Beef Loco": Troubled gang kids who are actually sensitive on the inside (like The Outsiders)
>"Pet Siouxicide": Bratty rich kid who learns humility(Willy Wonka).
>"Escape from Squatopian Freedom": Anarchism, Punk Rock fans, Hippies, The sovereign citizen movement.
>"Xavier's Maneuver": The Godfather, gangster movies in general.
>"El Tornadador" Self-Harm for the sake of art, Goth, Emo and Scene kids.
>"Going Normal" tv show Bosom Buddies, "The American Dream", people who are not Straight White Men trying to be successful in business.
>"Braingeas Final Cranny" The Greek tragedy, Oedipus by Sophocles

Religion is an organized, metaphysical cosmology. (The term "organized religion" is such a pet peeve of mine, religion is inherently organized.) New Age and Wicca and stuff like that essentially try to make spirituality into a physical thing through reliance on little bullshit rituals and trinkets and things; it's essentially trying to turn real-life into fantasy escapism.

I personally think it's one of the best animated shows ever made, but it really isn't for everyone. Majority of the jokes come from lightning speed puns and wordplay that depending on how you can catch up is going to take multiple viewings to catch every single one.
