Bad end? I want a good end. And a good end is Jack going back to the past. If Ashi goes with him that's fine too, but any ending where he does NOT go back to the past is bittersweet at best and downer at worst.

Obviously Genndy closed the door, but others might give it a go. The reason her fate would decide a spinoff though is because we have seen her entire life from the day she was born to her current situation, and theres not really an unknown area to expand upon.
Jack on the other hand has 50 years of unaccounted for adventures, so no matter what happens to him, there are gaps to fill.
