Bump for interest. I've already read Skottie Young's Rocket Raccoon, and albeit cute, it lacks direction. Would love more plot-heavy recommendations

Literally all you've got is his first appearance which is in some random issue of Hulk in the 400s somewhere, and the Halfworld Mini, which I will be storytiming tomorrow at noon.

Halfworld is such a weird/fun concept that I'm kinda sad the MCU decided not to use it. Plus, Mantlo/Mignola, hard to go wrong.

Aside from that, OP, you're best off reading Annihilation through Thanos Imperative.

Haven't read the Scottie Young stuff, so I can't comment on it.

In addition to what was said, What If - Infinity: Guardians of the Galaxy is surprisingly good.
Has some bendis run contamination, but most of it felt kinda in-character for the Guardians I guess.
