>season finale
>not series finale
what did they mean by this?
It means there's more episodes hence "season finale".

All the commercials have been saying "final episode" though.

Sure, but why the fuck would you call a final episode of a show a season finale? That would imply a likelihood of another season.
Odds are, it's a typo.
Any chance the finale could be an hour instead of 30 minutes? I don't see how they can wrap this all up in one normal lengthed episode.
I hope we get more too, OP.
But we realistically aren't.

Samurai Aishi coming late 2017
stop being autistic, you know what's happening

Its the final episode. Genndy has said he's done with Samurai Jack and definitively ending it this season. But, he went on to say that if someone wants to fill in the gaps between seasons 4 and 5, they're welcome to.
I hope it ends and stays ended. I don't think I could stomach the thought of Samurai Jack GO!

It's 30 minutes, but there's not much left to wrap up. The only plot points left are the Scots, Ashi's corruption, and Jack's final battle.
