Anyway, love or hate LPers of his particular variety, Markiplier's actually a swell guy. He does a ton of charity work and visits fans from time to time. He tries making a good amount of feel-good videos too. As far as Youtube celebrities go, he's pretty cool. It's easy to see why people would like him if you look into all he's done.

Now, why you'd specifically want him to play a usually silent bear, that's another story and I'm not quite clear on that. But maybe it's just a case of the creator being a big fan and wanting him to be a part of it somehow, like Kyle Carozza getting the Game Grumps to be a part of Mighty Magiswords.

I'm really not too sold on that character design but the animation is nice and it's got some potential. I feel happy that an animated show made in Mexico has a chance of taking off.
But I feel really frustrated because I've been working on the same premise for a long time now but I have a long way to go before I can even begin to make my own show (as of right now I still suck at drawing).
Everytime I think I'm working on a fresh and new idea something comes along that uses it and that is beyond frustrating, especially whel I feel like I could do better.
But, kudos to the guy for making his idea come true. If even Deviantart kids are making it in the industry nowadays then maybe I have a chance.

Don't feel frustrated. Shows with similar premises, designs, or ideas get greenlit all the time. People don't scream "HACK!!" Because Toy Story and Brave Little Toaster has slight similarities to them.

I always remember that interview with the Breaking Bad creator who said he never heard of Weeds prior to pitching the show, and had he known about it, he would have scrapped his pilot script. And that would have been a damn shame to have missed out on a great show just because Weeds existed.

this is an animated series done 100% on mexico.
Mexican animation(hell,latino animation in general) is a huge piece of shit.Our cartoons are some of the worst that have ever been made in history.Whats worse is that even if you could understand spanish,you wouldnt get it because they base a lot of its jokes on mexican humor thats only funny for them and not the rest of the world.

This is the first time we have an animated series,done in mexico,with a budget,that has a good concept and it isnt complete shit. It also doesnt have "churros,burritos, vamos wey" which is so frequent in mexican productions.I remember a CN pilot a while back that was nothing but this.

Also the designs are good and the animation is fantastic.As someone who lives in latinoamerica,we need shows like this to be popular on the US so we can escape the living hell that is the animation community here.Trust me when i tell you,no matter what you think of villainous,its 100 times better than anything else here(well except legend quest)

Here's my concept: The show takes place in a superhero world without superheroes, only supervillains (or just villains, since not all of them are super). Essentially, some event took place that allowed for a particular group of villains to rule over the world and wipe out nearly all superheroes. They still exist but they are powerless or castaways, but that's just the lore.

The show is essentially a cast of villains interacting with each other and making schemes for a living. Think of it like Seinfeld/IASIP meets Venture Bros/Lupin III.
The main cast consists of
>a short and fat mechanic who makes a living of repairing machines and selling tools to other villains. Wants to make it big as a supervillain to get tons of money. Looks like Danny Devito dressed as Hunter Thompson.
>a tall, lanky and arrogant businessman, brother to the previous character. While his brother works, he devises heists, negotiates contracts, etc. He tries to act like he's smarter than his brother even though he's just as much of an idiot. Looks like Sacha Baron Cohen + Dick Dastardly
>a young witch/magician who makes a living out of circus acts but who frequently tags along with the brothers only to try and steal their shit. The only superpowered cast member, but she's mostly inexperienced. Think Lydia Deetz meets Elaine Benes.
>a former war hero who used to be known for his violence, now a disgraced hobo who crashes by in the dumpster. Tall and strong, but ugly and with a beer gut. The only cast member who knows that the world is off balance, but he's a crazy conspiracy nut. Looks like a fusion between Kramer and Duke Nukem.
