Which one of his plays would work best as animated movie?
Considering damn near all of them have been animated to some degree, I guess any of them would do. I'd love to see an animated Titus Andronicus. Yo momma jokes and murdered kids baked into pies, it's a good time for everyone.

Not surprised. It's a good choice, if for no other reason than the world does need a billionth Romeo and Juliet. His less popular weird stuff needs some love.
I would like a comedy other than A Midsummer Night's Dream.
King Lear

I personally would love to see "The Tempest"

Twelfth Night?

Much Ado About Nothing might be a nice Comedy movie.
Plus it's a refreshing place away from most of his tragedy stories

I'd love that. But it wouldn't fly today. Folks would say that Viola's a trans or something and demand she get together with Olivia.Though, I wouldn't have minded that in the '96 movie. Imogen Stubbs and Helena Bonham Carter had serious chemistry while Toby Stephens was mostly just there.

Man, I hate Claudio.

In the hands of the right animator Lear could be terrifying as hell. Macbeth too.
A Midsummer Nights Dream

I liked that series from the BBC, although every story was turned back to thirty minutes.
