I really wanted to like Silk when she was first introduced, then Slott had to go all sleazy with her and Peter wanting to fuck like rabbits whenever they got close to the point of Terry Long-sleaze proportions. That was a big turnoff and I could never give Silk's series a fair shake no matter how much I was told it was much better than what Slott did.

Sigh. I liked it (mostly due to the character of Morbius and delving into the Greek part of his history) despite it being kinda poorly written, but that kind of marketing sinks a book faster than just poor sales.

Hilariously, silk seemed to really dislike the idea in her series, hence why she would keep her distance from Pete or be outright hostile to him at times (particularly when he would blab about her bunker-past to other heroes). She did have a cute date with Johnny from the F4 though.

I honestly liked 4 on the Floor and wanted to see more of Robbie after the arc was finished. It's a damn shame it got canned
