The only gay one is on Earth-2, the original version has been native to Earth-0 since COIE. They're not the same person rebooted. It's a completely different character.

I've only ever read golden age Alan Scott, can someone give me a quick rundown on how he fits in with the GLC as it is now? (or at least before he was erased by new 52)

Essentially in medieval China a GL ring went to Earth and that guy turned out to be a dick. I forget exactly how/why, but his ring got cursed instead of being revoked, so it became a magic artifact found by Alan hundreds of years later.

So the Guardians are wary of him at first, but the Earth Lanterns speak up for him because to them he's the OG.

I knew Solomon Grundy was an old Alan enemy, but I recently learned that Vandal Savage got his premier in Alan's Golden Age stuff too.

They only just made a golden age WW collection last year. It's basically just Superman and Batman that they've done a lot of reprints for.

Well, we are getting that meaty Adam Strange omni this summer. A good quarter of it never reprinted.

A second GL Silver Age will get us up to GL/GA, so that'd be cool.

I doubt much Golden Age JSA type stuff will see reprints for a long time if at all. Still, they seem committed to this current reprint program FOR ONCE. So that's a good sign.
