Ok, here's a group of pictures I did for my history class on WWI Chemical warfare depicting its effects.

Depicted here is a British officer armed with a SMLE Mk.III rifle and a Mk II small box respirator to protect him from chemical attacks.

Depicted here is a French officer succumbing to the effects of a Chlorine/Phosgine gas mixture. With no protection, his lung fluids are turning into hydrochloric acid, inflicting severe pulmonary edema, as well as his eyes being burned, tearing them up..

Depicted here is a German Imperial infantryman suffering from the effects of Mustard Gas or sulfur mustard. Armed with his Gewehr 98, he wanders aimlessly, blinded, as his eyes have been subjected to inflammation as a result of his exposure, in addition to having multiple blisters and lesions across his exposed skin. The only thing he has treat his injuries currently is a menthol soaked gauze strip wrapped around his eyes to assist with the inflammation.

You've got some solid, graphic foundations, and i like the inking.
However! There are some anatomy problems, and the blending with the pencil is a little messy. Might I recommend some gray prismacolor markers, or watercolors?

I know there are some anatomy problems; I used an old painting of a blind man stumbling and translated it with a grid reference.

For the french officer I used a picture of a set photograph of Captain Needa choking from the Empire Strikes back.

Funny thing you'd call him an asshole since he is a bit of an asshole.

There's a lengthy explanation for his condition, but the general idea is he was born into a group of fanatics who worship an eldritch deity. Said deity grants them the transformative ability to become enormous beasts, as a reward for their worship. However, there's always going be that doubtful few who stop worshiping Him, so then said ability turns from a blessing into a curse.

It essentially means he's going to suffer an agonizing death.

Thank you! I was actually trying to work pretty loose here, so that I kept the overall feel of the piece without getting bogged down in details.

Yes.
This particular picture, I drew on a paper, and colored it. After that I use that paper for overhead projector (Transparent film actual name) then traced portion of one color black, pink, red, ect. Things don't always line up, so I end up going back alot.

Once I'm done I plan to put new white in the background.

I've been becoming more and more distant from the idea of creating my own little shoot off webcomic series to the point where I've just decided to draw these characters now and then and mainly focus more on the community based art/whatever projects I'm in
here's two characters from the webcomic thing, I'm thinking of just starting up a discord and maybe getting a bunch of people to help me with it but that seems very unlikely and my ideas are very convoluted
but hey, drawing's fun so there's that at least
