but from what it sounds like, he had a heart attack. Sometimes they take all day to really 'take'
whereas despite the terrible reputation of the sushi place he went to (it SHOULD be shut down whether it got him or not), it probably wasn't food poisoning. That would have gotten him a lot earlier and been a lot clearer. Nothin you can catch from sushi takes 20 hours to kill you like that, unless he straight up ate fugu.. which is unlikely, and the symptoms don't match up

Cancer. But most people had suspected it long before it got her.

She retired from voice acting in the early 2000s with her explanation being that she wanted to spend more time with her family. People assumed there was a medical issue and guessed cancer, but it took almost 15 years to get her.

I'm glad Cavanaugh had all that time after she was diagnosed; sometimes cancer takes a long time to get you if you fight back hard enough, which she apparently did.

The most upsetting part is not the loss of talent, but the fact no child should ever go through that. Stuff like this happens multiple times every year to kids you'll never hear of. It's so commonplace that it's rarely reported on. Heart-breaking.

Lorenzo Music. I'm not sure that he had a lot of range, but he was iconic to the characters he voiced.

Dom DeLuise. Another iconic actor who was always a pleasure to listen to, he always seemed to enjoy his parts with the energy he brought. I'm still upset how little anyone seemed to care about his passing.

Thurl Ravenscroft. Amazing bass and singer, he mostly had a lot of smaller roles and you can still hear him quite a bit around Disneyland.

They lived really long, really good lives but I'll always miss Alan Young and Michael Rye. Their voices for Disney shows were a big part of my childhood.

I also miss him. One of the best things in the world is watching a TV show and stumbling onto a bit part played by him.

I remember watching The Adventures of Briscoe County Jr. with my best friend and we were so pumped when he appeared out of nowhere.

I wish he got more roles in films. He was primarily a stage actor, and so a lot of his performances are unrecorded. I'm a writer, and occasionally I'll write characters with him in mind just for fun.
