I went back and listened to Plastic Beach start to end for the first time in a while. It's still very strange compared to its predecessors, but it grows on you after a while and definitely sounds like a Gorillaz album.

Humanz has yet to do either and I doubt it ever will.

I've only ever listened to the Humanz track in its entirety three times and only prefer five tracks. It's not a bad album but it really isn't all that great either. "Gorillaz" remains my all time favorite, second would be G-sides.
