The biggest problem is that I've seen Gerards(as well as Allred) gush more over Cosmic Odyssey and from that preview we're getting stupid, boring douchy Orion instead of Kirby's version. It pisses me off that these people can't properly do these characters justice and instead opts for other hackier versions.

Gonna chime in and say someone mentioned Under Siege as a wordy comic in comparison to Black Bolt last thread and while Under Siege does have words for effect plenty of those sequences are pure efficiency. Like right at the start when the uniform goes loco: you *need* the description because they only have four panels to play with. That's a world away from Ward's art on Black Bolt.

I'm really late here but I hope that one anon who kept saying Black Bolt was wordy and poorly paced sees this and defines what that actually means. First 5 pages of BB had a better sense of stylish writing that's thought out onm more than one level than an Ewing or Soule comic ever had. It's hard to believe that this guy is writing comics for the first time ever.
