Is this scene from Archer supposed to be a reference to something?
Yeah, it's Rafael's famous "Big Ol' Dinner".

PLEASE WATCH OUR SHOW

This season isn't getting a lot of views for some reason.
most brutal moment in cartoons so far in 2017?
>>92295496
No you idiot, it's Leonardo da Caprio's "The First Breakfast".
>>92295496
>>92297031
Wasn't it Donatello's "Middling Brunch"?
Or am I thinking of Mozart's "Ode to Supper"?
>>92296012
Well, the last two were weaker.
Though this one is going strong with a fairly serialized structure.
>it was all a dream: the show
>>92297473
At least they let you know from the start.
It's an 8 episode run this time and so far the story has been interesting, less bogged down by tiredness.

World's most famous dinner party.

So is Pam supposed to be a man in this season or what?
Was Vice aesthetic?
>>92297301
Vice was good, I found, though the previous season was kinda boring and nothing really happened.
I hope they go back to spying.
That is, if it doesn't get axed in the near future.
>>92301196
Someone in another thread said the people making it will stop at 10 if they don't get cancelled first.
>>92295472
theres a new season? I don't know if I even want to watch this anymore its gone downhill
>>92295472
It's the Donner party. Can't you see Rudolf rubbed his rednose all across the table and people doing lines of coke?
>>92298413
yes

Good, go away so we can discuss it without you
Seriously though, this season has been so good. The art is gorgeous and the new character dynamics have opened the show up to new running gags. According to Adam Reed Archer will hold a coma grudge against the other characters when he wakes up eventually. Part of me wants to go further down the rabbit hole next season though, since apparently he's not waking up at all this season. Imagine: a season long WWII flashback inside a noir coma dream. It could be amazing!

I thought it was all over the place. They could've played it more as Miami Vice but they missed the opportunity.
>>92297769
I have really enjoyed the serialized format. Usually the quality dips for this sort of thing but I've been really engrossed in the story.
>>92295534
A little on the nose, don't you think?
>>92296012
I think the move to FXX has been a factor, personally.
>>92297473
You say that like it's automatically a bad thing. At least it's internally consistent for a dream.
>>92301196
I think it's greenlit through season 10 and the creator has said he's taking that as an opportunity and actually plotting it ahead
>>92304949
I think if you edited a bit it would make a great animated movie
>>92304764
That could be interesting. I'd assume the characters would be reimagined again. Maybe French nun Cheryl? I'd watch it.
