I'm going to chill with my friend after work today. We usually grab dinner and watch some kind of cartoon, but we're in between shows right now and feel like watching a movie.
What's your favorite animated movie? Could be feature or made for TV.
Literally any Scooby Doo movie where Shaggy wears a red shirtinb4 ghoul school waifu fags
Coonskin by Bakshi. Really any of bakshis films but coonskin is my personal favorite.
What kinda cartoons do you guys like? Might help narrow recommendations

Anything really. We're typically into action and drama, stuff that prioritizes plot over slapstick and humor, but we love a good musical, too. We're not picky.
I was thinking of bringing A Goofy Movie because he's never seen it, but it's not set in stone.

A Goofy Movie is good, go with that.

My favorite movie is WALL-E, but I'd also recommend Corpse Bride, The Book of Life or Lilo and Stitch.

Seconded
Truly an under appreciated movie

Fuck. Not a bad idea. We both grew up on that and still sing songs from it, randomly.

I actually recently torrented this because I've been on an anime kick. Watched a ton of Miyazaki movies last weekend. The last time I watched Akira I was way too young to appreciate it.

Wall-E is fucking brilliant. We've both seen it but not recently. I did not enjoy corpse bride, and Lilo and Stitch was just okay. Was Book of Life really worth watching? I've heard mixed opinions.

The story itself is okay, but the characters and the art design make it well worth eatching imo.
Fantastic Mr. Fox and Coraline
THE IRON GIANT
Who framed roger rabbit.
King and the mockingbird. It's French, but super fucking cool. It's what inspired Miyazaki to animate.
